You can add ground transportation to the reservation through CheapCaribbean. You can do this either at the time of booking or up to 48 hours prior to travel on an existing reservation. Alternatively, you do receive your resort assignment within 7 days of travel and could certainly look into arranging once you receive this.

Most of the resorts are on the beach, however not all are. The resort you get will be any of our family friendly, 4-sun resorts and therefore location will vary a bit, although all will be in Punta Cana.

These are not timeshares, although it is entirely possible that one of the resorts you are may be placed in could have some on property. As far as being hounded by salespeople, this is generally not something you would need to worry about.
