Overall, really good experience. If you are willing to have relaxing time during morning to evening and party at night Breathless is the place. Make sure to Cover Thursday-Sunday for your stay as they have more parties in the evening at that time. Restaurants: I would suggest Silk City is amazing. For other food varieties, go to Dreams Onyx for the food as they have more options.

Beautiful Hotel with Top Tier Staff
Breathless Punta Cana is a beautiful resort right on the ocean water. Offering different pool options and entertainment throughout the day. The resort had something going on almost every evening. Multiple different dining options offering a vast selection of food. We personally wished they had more authentic Dominican food. That was the one thing we wish they improved on. (Note that not all dining options are open everyday so make sure to have a dining plan). The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! We upgraded to the Xhale club package and it was VERY worth it. We had a private pool, beach area and clubhouse. They offered hors d'oeuvres at the pool and had entertainment there as well. Our room was stocked daily, cleaned twice a day with a turn down service that went the extra mile and would surprise us with daily arrangements. Our room also had a private hot tub on our covered porch. Our concierge, Willie, is truly someone special. He treated us like his family, he goes above and beyond for his people. He made our honeymoon more than we could have ever imagined. His devotion to his job should be recognized by management and I hope one day he can achieve his goal of being a GM. He would make a great leader at Breathless! When he went on his time off, Willie continued to check in on us even with our new concierge Emilio who was also helpful, friendly and incredibly attentive. Thank you for making our Honeymoon one we will never forget!

My son’s 18th bday and 1st trip out of the country!
It’s a nice, clean resort. Nice amenities. Pools were nice. My son said one part of the beach had what felt like rocks hitting him in the water. Another part, the water was fine. The drinks weren’t that good, we couldn’t taste any alcohol. Food was average, not bad but average. I’m a foodie! I wish they would have had authentic Dominican food. The staff were so nice! Elis (The Xhale Club) helped make my son’s 18th bday trip a great one! Although I could’ve had better food and drinks, Elis definitely helped boost my rating of the resort and would be my reason to return. It’s so hard to find someone who loves their job and it shows. Customer service is very important to me and 99% of the staff had great customer service!

Dec 09, 2025Wonderful Resort - Looking forward to Returning
This resort is very well-run. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The people here are so friendly, welcoming and always helpful. My husband and I first went to this resort in March, 2025. We had such a great time and we thought it would be a great place to come back to with the family. So we returned the end of November and stayed until the first week of December. There were 6 of us and we all had a wonderful time!! This place is a perfect place to go to if you have adult kids. I love that it’s an adults only resort and that there’s something for everyone. I cannot speak highly enough about this resort. It has great food, drinks, entertainment and people. This place is very clean and absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be returning. We may make this resort the gathering place for our family vacations from now on.

Party Resort
Great service with very vivid vibe. If you love party, pool and beach with only adults, this is definitely a good choice. There is also a non-adults only resort called Dreams OYNX next door with the same owner, so the amenities are shared. It’s good for no-kids couple/singles to go with friends who have family and still can hangout together.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
