Needs work on the customer service side!

I go into all-inclusive understanding that its about the level of service and experience, as these are not 5-star restaurants and spa' so you need to take it with a grain of salt. As someone whose traveled to several all-inclusive before this was a little bit of a let down. Below are the Pro's and Con's: Pros: -Drinks were good and strong -Beds and pillow were comfy -Tennis Court and Basketball court was a nice plus -Free Bikes to ride the island (Granted you get one where the chain doesn't pop off every time you peddle) -Hotel is very clean and freshly designed, very comfortable -Much cheaper than Atlantis where is basically $8.25 for a bottle of water -Pool is nice, beach isn't bad either. Plenty of chairs to relax and plenty of beach activities Cons: -Service is horrible, workers will walk by you and do not say a word! -Restaurants are below average food wise and understaffed. The buffet allows you to literally stack plates up because nobody comes by and picks up the empty plates -Food at the buffet is often cold -You have to get up at 730 AM to be in line by 745AM in order to get a good dinner reservation or you'll be stuck with the buffet for dinner. The resort (If thats what you want to call it) makes you get up an make reservations every single day instead of allowing you to book for the week at check-in like many other places -Good Luck finding someone to get you a drink while sitting by the pool, I think in 5 days of staying at the resort we were offered 1 time and they allow the dirty drink cups to pill up like the plates in the buffet and restaurants -Only 1 bar open at a time and the beach bar gets crowded, often you have to push your way into the area since nobody will come to you while laying on a chair an get a drink order from you! Again, not a awful place but a lot of room for improvement, but honestly speaking much for economical then going to Atlantis.

Disappointing

The Warwick went thru a $50M renovation and reopened in Oct ‘17 and is very new, comfy beds, clean and modern. The staff couldn’t be nicer, friendly and all wanting you to have a great time and come back. However, the pool is very small and no floats (too small for people and floats), the beach is also small with almost no swimming space. Food was mediocre and too few restaurants and bars. Entertainment was minimal and activities few and no water sports. We have been to several much larger resorts and admittedly are spoiled by them, but if you’re looking for a laid back place with limited activities, The Warwick would be fine and for a four day getaway it was relaxing but we wouldn’t go back.

Very Disappointed

Only two bars; indoor one opened late in day! 3 restaurants which are hard to get in to, no alcohol in mini fridge; I could go on and on! So disappointed!

January Get Away

First time to the Bahamas so only had trips to Jamaica for comparison. Was there the 2nd week of Jan. The Warwick was a very good choice for what we were looking for. Although the weather did not cooperate the first 3 days with rain the staff tried to make the best of things by engaging guests in activities. I love the personable and friendly atmosphere at the resort which can be attributed to the staff who almost always had a warm smile, a kind welcoming word and available to assist. Of course it goes both way and we made sure the staff felt appreciated for what they did for us. Although it was disappointing not to have all the restaurants open every night we found the buffet always having much to appease our appetite and savory also. The drinks were abundant and tasty. The bartenders were attentive although very busy at the main bar due to the rain the outside bar was closed. The location of the hotel and resort is ideal for walking a short distance, 1/2 mile to several options of shopping, food, another beach, etc. The free shuttle nightly to Atlantis for gambling, sightseeing, etc. is a nice option. The front desk assisted with getting us taxis to go to Nassau for some shopping and sight seeing and the cost was reasonable. Tried out the exercise room one day and was okay, but not really impressed. Housekeeping staff were always seen on our floor doing their job. Although we did not have a room with a wonderful view we were okay with that as we spent little time in our room other than for sleeping. I would recommend the Warwick and look forward to another visit in the near future.
