Honeymoon Trip

I am so happy I chose this resort for our honeymoon. It is certainly beyond beautiful. We chose transport via this site as well from airport to resort, the staff was awesome they answered all our questions about the island on the way to the resort. The resort was 1.5-2hrs from the airport which we knew going into the trip. The roads on the island are all twisty and turny if you don’t do well on roller coasters or tea cups I suggest booking the helicopter transfer from the airport. The main entrance of the resort was stunning and grand. Immediately we were greeted with a drink and people to take our bags. The front desk checked us in immediately and we were given these bracelets that had our room key on them as part of the bracelet , which was awesome bc you didn’t have to carry a room key card around with you, and it just stayed on for the remainder of the trip. Our concierge then treated us at the front desk and took us on a quick tour of the place that ended at our room. When we go to our room our bags were already there. The room was a swim out room in building four and it was awesome. Very clean, with a soaking tub in the room and a huge shower, king bed and great storage. Our concierge immediately showed us how to connect to the wifi( which is all over the resort and fast internet) and showed us how to order and look over the resort on the TV. The beach was beautiful at this time of year, there was like no one there so it was soooo nice to have a quiet beach and pools. There are 3 pool bars and 1 beach bar, not including the Hideaway (adults only section). I originally didnt book at the Hideaway bc i wasn’t sure how spread out the resort was and didn’t want to be far from everything, however after being there the Hideaway is like right next to all the other buildings and I would recommend staying there if u want a swim out with a ocean view as u can’t really see the ocean from all the other buildings. The Hideaway also has its own restaurant and bar that is just for those who stay there and Hideaway goers can use all facilities on resort they just have a section of the beach that’s adults only for them and one extra bar and restaurant which I heard from other honeymooners was great. However there weren’t like any kids at the resort when we were there so the beach was great. So the pool bars were awesome, drinks were great! The beach beautiful ! No huge waves at all, sand white! The only thing about the beach like was kind of annoying by day 4 was that there were several outside groups of people trying to tell you excursions, they were nice, but the constantly walk up and down the beach and bother you, by day four we starting being slightly rude to them only so that we could like rest and nap on the beach without being bothered every 1/2 hour. Per a local the beaches on the island are all public and if they have a license to sell a excursion technically the resort can’t keep them off the beach. So every beach that has a resort is like this on the island. There are jet skis on the beach that you can rent for a good price but they aren’t connected with the resort they are part of those outside people that come in and try to sell their stuff. The chairs on the beach are great with like permanent umbrellas they built, and towels are provided by the resort at the pool u can grab they don’t keep track per room which is nice. The spa: AWESOME we did a beach massage which was beautiful at sunset and I did one massage special one day, when you use any spa service u have full access to the spa for 1 hour before and after which includes their spa pool, sauna and more. Romantic Dinner on the beach: Great the view was stunning, service was a little slow but we didn’t care bc of the view, they do 3-4 couple at different tables at the beach a night but spread out enough. 3 different prices options for that which different options (not part of all inclusive, but a must do for the sunset) Culinary Experience: This is my favorite things we did, we were with two other couples who were just a blast. Food was great, they must have served us so much wine we all had the best time, this is a must do, they explain all the wine and how to taste and what to eat it with it was so cool. Excisions with Nexus : onsite excursions office: We did the Piton climb, o m g yes you need to be physically fit to do this climb, it was nuts! but awesome ! we left at 6:15 am from the resort and didn’t get back until 7pm so long day but it was great, the driver was so nice answered all our questions, we picked up people from other resorts and then went and climbed the Pitons, after we had lunch downtown and it was perfect, beautiful beach front lunch and took a quick swim. Pitons are 2 hours from the resort so prepare for the drive and traffic. Monday night: the resort did a huge party with music and food from the island, drinks in coconuts which was cool to have authentic island food! Restaurants : They have a Habachi restaurant, steakhouse, mexican, italian food and island food. All were fantastic, portions were small but just get two of everything ... it’s all inclusive so order as much as u want ! Buffet: breakfast and lunch: just yes, Mamosas yes, omelette station, smoothie station. Only thing i wish they had was a buffet open for dinner. I’m a buffet lover. Bottles of wine: they do have wine at meals that’s all inclusive but if u want a specific type bc they don’t have a lot of types that’s included in the all inclusive, you will need to purchase, most bottles start at 50usd when looking online they are like 6-13$ usd in the US so they are upcharged a lot but it’s vaca so whatever. All in all : Go on your Honeymoon here. Saint Lucia is beautiful , the resort beautiful, the staff really is focused on your experience. It’s just beautiful.

Vacation Review

The Royalton St. Lucia is a beautiful resort. Our stay was fantastic. Staff members at the resort are friendly and helpful. We would definitely return. You have to watch out for the immediate push to sit through a sales pitch when you arrive though.
