Stayed 8/3-8/10 on the first floor. Try to get a higher floor but all rooms seem to have some ocean view. You can walk to anything in the resort in a few minutes. All the workers were very professional and accommodating. I would consider it more of a boutique/spa resort. It is smaller and adult only. There is a swim up bar where the service was spotty at times but they did have some premium alcohol for an up charge and, brand name such as Barcardi and Corona beer included. We ate at most of the restaurants and with 10 people in our party they tried to charge us a 10 dollar fee per person with a pre set menu. When I complained to the manager Obet they waived the fee and had the whole menu available to us at all the restaurants. No problem with anything after that. The servers at the restaurants were good and the food was very good. We have been to a lot of all-inclusive and usually you struggle to find good food. Not here. Even at the pool where you order with a server. The steak house was exceptionally good but had a $35 up charge per person.I believe it is worth it. Great view! The only down side to this resort was that you can't go in the ocean because it is to rough. The staff will prevent you if you try. You can go to the sister resorts and enjoy the amenities there. I would only suggest the Sunset. It is close and easy to get to by free shuttle. The Rose and Blanco are farther past town and too crowded with many people pedaling goods on the beach ruining the view. Those resorts are the only ones you can go in the ocean unfortunately. The day we left the bell hop took 4 of my parties bags but when we arrived at the airport they were not on the taxi. We would not have time to go back and get them. To our surprise, when we called Pacifica they had realized what happened and sent the bags with a worker. They were already at the airport! I couldn't believe it. How awesome. I will go back.

20th Anniversary Trip

My wife and I initially intended to go to Cozumel but had to switch to Cabo avoiding a tropical storm. They upgraded our room which had a view of the pool and ocean. The bed had a Happy Anniversary greeting spelled out in glass beads. Nice touch! There is a laid back vibe at both pools but if you want a party atmosphere visit the Sky Pool at te associate property. The food and service at Siempre and Pescados were both great. However, the third restaurant (can't even remember the name) was mediocre and the service poor. Overall this is a good place for a getaway. However, I would have liked some type of evening show which we have experienced at other resorts. If your looking for raucous, party atmosphere this isn't the place. If you want to chill and enjoy cocktails, food, pool and beach with your homie, lover, or friend, check this place out.

Mediocre Experience

Upon arriving at the Pacifica around 3:30pm, we were told our room was not ready. When we finally did get to our room an hour later, it wreaked of sewage. Thankfully, they were nice enough to move us to a different room. We also learned very quickly that our "all inclusive" status excluded about 4 restaurants and most nice liquors (Patrón, etc.). These would require additional fees, sometimes up to $35 per person depending on the place. Definitely not cool to lead people to believe they're all-inclusive when the reality is "somewhat" inclusive. Now on to the food. The quality was laughable. I mean like cafeteria food with really low quality ingredients and bland taste (although, presented very artistically and on large fancy plates, as if that could somehow make up for the fact the food was awful). In addition, although all the staff were very friendly, there simply weren't enough of them working. This translated into ridiculous wait times for food (e.g., 45 minutes after getting seated before you meet your waiter, another hour before you see just an appetizer). I will say that the ambience is great, with a lovely view of the ocean. But, in the end, I can't really recommend this place and likely won't be returning.

Very relaxing resort

My husband and I love this resort,in fact this is where we stayed when we got married. This was our second time staying and it was even better than the first. We got a beautiful ocean view room (there really isn't a bad view anywhere that you stay here) and amazing service. They have added a restaurant, new gym, and fire pits since the last time that we were there and we really enjoyed the upgrades. We will be back again soon.

What's to Love

What We'd Change

Though Cabo is one mile away, walking can seem longer at night. Luckily the resort has free shuttle service to sister resorts in the heart of downtown!

Hotel Description

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort: Discover An All-Inclusive Experience

Trendy vibes and tranquil views are all the rage at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort, where couples and singles enjoy the all inclusive beachfront luxe life. Conde Nast Traveler rates this adults-only resort as one of the "Top Ten Mexico Hotels," and with desert-themed landscaping, organic elements and personalized service, it's easy to see why! "Luxury without limitations" is the motto on the resort's 2.5 miles of secluded beach, and at just one mile to the nightlife of downtown Cabo San Lucas, it's no wonder couples reconnect at this romantic retreat.

Though the beach isn't safe for swimming, the long stretch of sun-kissed sand sets the stage for sunset strolls or lounging on immaculate Bali beds. Cool down in two beachfront pools with a margarita from swim-up Aqua Bar before deciding which of the four restaurants sounds good for dinner. Fresh local ingredients fill the menu at Siempre where chocolate fettuccine with lobster and salmon ravioli leave guests raving. Wondering how to spend the evening? Five bars keep couples company long after nightfall. Hit up Refresca Wine Bar for a glass of red or stop by Partidos Sports and Tapas Bar to catch a game and satisfy the late-night munchies. Couples head to oceanfront Fire & Ice for martinis and sounds of the surf.

If you want even more options, you're in luck. In total, you'll have access to 37 different dining options and 19 bar options thanks to the shuttle service that connects you to each of the sister resorts (Pacifica, Sunset Beach, Rose, PB Los Cabos & Quivira Golf Club.) With all those culinary options, you'll have your plate full with delicious food to sample and tasty cocktails to sip.

Wake up early to catch a breathtaking sunrise before taking advantage of complimentary watersports. Arrange a day of swimming with dolphins or a romantic sunset cruise--there are plenty of ways to enjoy the sights and each other. After a day of fun, couples head to Armonia Spa for full-service pampering. Try a massage in the private couple's suite for relaxing intimacy with a side of champagne and strawberries! The Ocean View Suite is the perfect end to a day full of romance. With an immaculate feather-top bed and an over-sized balcony, it's the beginning of a special night. Free butler service in the Ocean View Suites is just the cherry on top of a full plate of romance and luxury.
