Amazing birthday get away!!
Every where you walked they were keeping the property trimmed and cleaned, staff were Amazing, Israel at the front desk from the time we checked in remembered our name and said Good Morning every day he saw us. Entertainment staff was awesome and engaging making sure everyone had fun, Beto did a great job getting us a souvenir we asked for, remembered us and came and found us and talked to us frequently about an update daily until he was able to find us hats!! Maritza at the front desk was courteous and very accommodating at check in! We will definitely be back and recommend Princess Platinum Yucatán to everyone we know!

Couples getaway
The property is beautiful and well maintained. The buffet had great food, though service was a little slow. The Italian and Mediterranean restaurants were excellent, but the wait times were very long. Night shows were enjoyable. Staff in general felt a bit aloof, except for Alexander at the Bar Plaza and Miguel at the night snacks buffet who were both fantastic. A highlight was visiting the sister resort, Grand Riviera Princess—big difference in atmosphere! Staff there were friendly and attentive, and at La Vaqueria, Julio gave us amazing service with food that just kept coming. Their Areito disco is live!

Great solo stay!
From arrival to checkout, the staff truly made the difference. Special shout-out to Enrique on my arrival —warm, efficient, and attentive. The grounds are immaculate; you can see teams constantly keeping the resort spotless. Food across the restaurants and buffets was consistently good with plenty of options. My room was newly renovated, modern, and exceptionally well maintained—housekeeping kept everything pristine and the amenities worked flawlessly. I loved the balance of vibes: the main pool is lively and perfect for a party atmosphere, while the many other pools around the property offer quiet corners to unwind with a book or nap in the shade. It’s a great mix for different moods in the same day. Only drawback: during my stay, the beach wasn’t maintained for sargassum like some nearby hotels, making ocean swimming not possible at that time. If the beach is a must, check current conditions. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for its outstanding service, cleanliness, tasty food, and beautifully kept rooms.

Way too loud and not relaxing
I am writing this review as I lay in bed at the resort. I have gone to over a dozen AIs over the years and while I was not super impressed by this one I wasn’t going to write a review until tonight. First the good. The people are the bright spot here. The food is okay, nothing special. But if you are looking for relaxing this is not the place. The furniture on the balconies are hard plastic chairs and the music at the quiet pool is often loud, even if you can hear out over all the speakers various guests use at the pools. What has made me write this at 12:30 in the morning is the very loud outdoor show that is apparently going to continue until 1am! So of you have an early day or just want to sleep, good luck. On top of that the beach is not usable. I thought other reviews were just being picky since seaweed and dirty water doesn’t bother me, but the smell is incredibly strong and awful and the walk to the family beach has no paths or spots to make it easier. I will not return as my goal during these trips are sleep and relaxing, not being forced to be part of everyone’s party.

Best adult only hotel by a long shot
One of the best holidays my wife and I have had ! The good points in a nutshell - high quality accommodation ( we had a Junior deluxe suite swim up room ) , the majority of staff are very welcoming and helpful ( Especially Bryan , who serves in the Yukatan restaurant at Breakfast and lunch time ) , the hotel is clean , any reported issues were dealt with quickly , the Yukatan Restaurant serves the buffet food at breakfast , lunch and dinner - there is a variety of food which should please even the fussiest of pallets 😬 there are other more formal restaurants as well.If you have a swim up room , there usually is a waitress that will take your drink order for you 😊 As far as we are concerned there were some minor negatives about our stay - considering the temperature was around 31-33 degrees the air con in the rooms are set at 22 degrees and won’t go any lower , don’t get me wrong , when you come back in the room it’s lovely and cold but after a while you don’t really feel the benefit ( this was my wife’s pet hate , it was bearable for me 😬) bring some long trousers if you want to eat in the restaurants as they don’t allow shorts or 3/4’s , not so much about the hotel but the seaweed issue on this side of the Mexican coast is still here ! ( Basically it’s a bit wiffy 🤣) and finally the patio furniture isn’t the most comfortable. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a excellent hotel , keep up the good work 👍🏼
