Did not meet expectations

I felt that the service was subpar. Most nights, took so long that my drink didn't arrive until after I was done eating. Mostly apathetic employees (not all) and were not very friendly. A few employees did, however, go out of their way to make my trip more pleasant. Thank you! Beach is beautiful and there is plenty of it. Pools were okay - plenty of space to swim but lots of floating debris in 1/3 of the pool. Wish I knew about the newer pool that is separate from the main pool area, but it is somewhat hidden and I did not find it until the last day of my trip. Food was okay. Really liked the BBQ at the Outhouse. The optional fancier restaurants had a decent selection, but I wasn't impressed with how any of my meals tasted. Alcoholic drinks were way too inconsistent - some days I would drink two drinks and feel tipsy, other times I had four drinks and didn't feel a thing. The room was comfortable and the A/C always worked. Really just needs a little remodel (at least the building I was in) as it was outdated looking. Bed was large and room service always did a great job making the room look new every day.

Good Vibes

My husband and I came here for our 16th anniversary & we were only here for 3 nights but we had a great time. The food was absolutely amazing. The room is pretty basic BUT it didn't matter because we were hardly there. The outpost BBQ spot was a hit! S/O to Barrymore, those ribs were soooooo good. There was entertainment each night & it was a lot of fun. We would definitely reccomend this place, especially since the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The customer service exceeded my expectations. #PositiveVibesOnly!

Great Getaway

I just visited this resort for the first week in July and had a great time. The beach is stunning - white sand and blue green water. There was some seaweed at the shore, but I have found that at most spots in the Caribbean. It was easy to find a chair at the beach and at the pools. The pools were small but sufficient. The staff is lovely and anxious to please. The food was okay, definitely better in the restaurants than at the buffet. I would skip the lunch buffet for the snack bar even though the service is slow. There are made to order eggs, omelets and fruit smoothies at breakfast. I stayed in a beachfront room. The outer room was fine, but the bathroom was pretty outdated. The tub was chipped near the drain and the counter had a stain.

Great times at Pineapple Beach

Awesome. Beach and sand were incredible and best we have seen.No children made it even more relaxing. Good food, Good activities ,Good food, Good people, Great bed, Great drinks, and close walk to everything you need. If you see a guy on the beach named Garth he is a great guy you can trust him. It is a 30 min taxi ride to St Johns to do shopping and gamble at casino. Cost $52 for round trip. Overall I give this place a solid 8 out of 10 and I do highly recommend it.
