We were told that the restaurant was five star dining which was incorrect. We were charged $4 for a glass of tea and charged another $4 for a refill. So for two people we were charged $16 for tea which was ridiculous. The rooms were not as. clean as we would of expected for the cost. Beach was pretty but no night life entertainment.

Beachy getaway and relax

This place was a perfect getaway in February for a long weekend. We got a room upgrade to beachfront, which was awesome and breathtaking to see the sunrise from your patio. Very nice gardens and pool area. A long white beach invites to walk and snorchel (with lot of seaweeds, but therefore plenty of fish). Real swimmming is difficult if you don't want to get in the weeds, there is only flat water. One poolbar and one Restaurant with great (!) food, well priced, but be aware to buy every drink, meals and snacks extra, as there is no (!) supermarket at all to fill up your fridge.Tapwater is tasty and safe. Kitchenette is there so we were good in bringing at least some breakfast. No real dining table in our room. No tennis courts as advertised, no playground (maybe they got damaged in the last hurricane and never were rebuild). Basketball court, Volleyball, rusty bikes, kayaks and boards, chess are available as well as fitness and masage. No Hurricane damage seen in the resort anymore, but plenty on the way from Freeport. Beds comfortable, interior well working (water and sewer) but little dated, few storage for cloths and stuff. Luxurious are the sunrise and sunset at one place, the pool, the marina, the fresh local food, space and quietness of the area; towels and room equipment have seen better times. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Clocks are running slower there so long waiting times for food (freshly prepared ) must be calculated in. Surrounding area is very lonesome at the end of the island (world). Ideal for those who enjoy qietness. Wondering about price /value but all in all we loved it.
