Beach resort with big green areas
I came to hotel with high expectations, and straight away was surprised about check-in. It felt that main goal was to explain to me about all penalties what I can get, not really how hotel works and where to find what, which is important for bigger resorts and usually done. Then I needed to go to park car and come back to reception with my luggage to get transported to room instead of being picked up at parking. Thankfully everything went better afterwards. Hotel has a lot of green areas, access to beach as well. At beach there are local tour sellers and other offerings, like massage, but they don’t chase you too much. Good for rest and swim. Pools looked a bit murky, especially smaller one with swim-up bar. Overall food and drinks worked out quite well while there, barmen knows their work well and puts extra effort in. Food was ok, as usual in resorts you need to find out what works best for you, then you are set. Main restaurant is quite small compared to amount of guests, so it gets crowded and there could be wait times to enter it. Specialised restaurants needs advance booking, I suggest to do it not last day, as choices and times are limited. I visited Oriental, quite good Asian fusion food. If you have car, watch out where you park it. If it is under trees, it provides shade, but will require washing afterwards, there are lots of birds and animals living up there.

Disgusting pools.
I'm here now. Food is great rooms are good. Staff are good. One pool has green mold all over it. And not just the water. The bottom side and the lie down chairs. The other pool is murky. Hardly anyone goes in. I have been here since Sunday and I have not gone in them. I don't want to get sick. Disgusting.

Family vacation
Very nice hotel, variety of dishes at the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. Hard to get around, a lot of stairs and steep hills for older people with mobility issues. Tho they do have a shuttle service which is very accommodating it is very hard to get in and out from for older people the shuttle is too high with narrow steps. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the resort but you definitely have to watch for the raccoons that are not scared of people and want to come into your rooms.

Don’t waste your money
I arrived on December 2nd, and I am shocked by what I found here. Do not trust the positive reviews — this place is a complete disappointment. You are essentially throwing your money in the garbage. Forget about star ratings; this is absolutely the last place you should choose. I’m not even going to talk about check-in or welcome services — they simply do not exist. Yes, nature is beautiful, but that’s the only positive thing, and it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Food: Below average and extremely basic. Drinks: If you enjoy sparkling wine in the morning while on vacation — forget it, it doesn’t exist here. Rooms: Just okay. Towels: Don’t expect to have fresh towels after coming back from the beach. Costa Rican rum: Not available unless you are a “premium” guest, and even then, only in one specific bar. Pools: Dirty and swamp-like. Completely unacceptable. Overall, this has been a huge disappointment. I genuinely feel robbed. For the amount of money we paid, the experience is nowhere near what was promised. Do not come here.
