In addition to being All About Golf (which we love), this lovely escape-haven was seemingly designed for all you fair-skinned beach goers because there's nearly a palapa around every palm. A fab place for families, there's a super fun kids' club (Kid's Co.), but also, an adults-only pool for those times when separating from your little darlings would be best for everyone. Here's a ginormous plus: the world's second largest coral reef is close by and where you can descend into the deep blue for unmatched electrically colorful fish and other sea life. Finally, the food, drinks, scenery and spa are more than delicious. Was that a "yes, please," we heard? Thought so.

This was such an amazing trip . First time to Mexico and it was amazing , the staff was so friendly and called us by name . We will be back
staff were great,resort was very nice-not too big or too small,nice layout and location,one of the better beaches,food was good,drinks could use some improvement in quality- stick with beer or plain alcohol,mixed drinks tasted like artificial sweetener, wine was bad . all that said i would go back .

Wonderful Experience
I can honestly say that we received exceptional service at this resort. The staff is amazing and the hotel and rooms were always clean. They had a wide variety of food to choose from depending on what you were in the mood for. I can honestly say that the staff made the trip! Friendly, always smiling and willing to get you whatever you needed to make your stay all that it could be. I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan on going back.
This resort was great. Can’t say enough about the incredible service and hospitality. Beaches were beautiful and everything is well kept and clean. Seaweed is naturally occurring,nice to see a resort not try and change the natural environment. Definitely were areas that were seaweed free but it really wasn’t an issue. Food was amazing. Selection not as big as other places but it was fresh, local and delicious. Fully recommend this place.

The resort is located 5 miles from Cozumel International Airport (CZM). You are able to purchase the roundtrip airport transfers with your vacation package to ensure your service is arranged.

After clearing customs go directly to the window that has a Transportation sign above it...there you will pay $9 US each for a shuttle to the hotel. It is easy! When you are ready to head back to the airport; change your money to pesos and take a taxi (200 pesos) Cab drivers don't want dollars for some reason.

On your "Room Details" under room amenities for each type of room, it does not mention that there is a minibar for the Deluxe Room, but it lists minibar for both the Deluxe Ocean Room and Jr. Suite Ocean View. Does this mean the Garden Rooms do not come with a minibar? Thanks.

Yes, the room categories that have a mini bar are the Deluxe Ocean room and the Jr. Suite Ocean View.

you have a mini fridge in every room! the only thing is that they do not get refilled when you use anything out of them. One the other hand, the bars are located outside pretty close to your rooms. The bars are open pretty much all day.

No and there is only one course in Cozumel. It is expensive and there are no discounts. It is comparable to an average public course. We decided it may be better to take the ferry over and try those courses on the mainland.

There are 3 restaurants on site. One is a buffet which offers breakfast, lunch & dinner. Second is a reservation only formal dinner. Third, is a snack bar (the food options are various & delicious) during lunch & then a nice dinner for the evening. You also have a swim up bar in the adults only pool area & a bar area in the lobby for the evening.

there are 3 restaurants and 1 buffet. Making reservations is easy- just ask any waiter in the buffet and they will get the manager who will take your reservation. No lines or waiting hours like so many other places. Italian, Mexican and International cuisine. All are excellent.

There are three restaurants for dinner, not including the buffet. There's a Mexican, Italian, and Argentinian (I think). You do need nightly reservations, unless you go to the buffet.

You can snorkel off the beach, however to visit the reef would be an excursion.

the reef is an excursion-chap a chop a (spelling?) is recommeded. They show you 3 different sections of the reef. There is excellent snorkeling a couple of minutes walk down beach. You cant miss it. It has a concrete peer on either side of it, which helps keep the seaweed out. It's awesome!!!

It is not in front of the hotel but snorkeling is great on the other side of the pier which is just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Honestly, snorkeling there was better than by the rief.

You can snorkel on this beach or you can walk down the beach to the next hotel (El Cozumelina) and snorkel there; where there are more fish. All beaches are public.

The reef is not directly in front of the hotel. The best snorkling is on the southwest side of the island, only a 20 minute taxi ride or 45 minute boat ride from ferry pier.

The beach here is the soft, fine, white sand of Santa Pilar, so it's not particularly rocky. However, this can vary based on currents, etc. It's always a good idea to be prepared.

Ocean entrance in front of hotel is powder-no water shoes needed. If you walks 3 minutes down beach to snorkel area, there is one of those kinda steep shelfs w/ solid shells-sensative feet-highly recommend water shoes

There was lots of seaweed but you can swim out past it & it's clear as can be, or you can walk 3 minutes down the beach & swim & snorkel in crystal clear water !!!

In the area of the resort there is a lot of seaweed. But after the pier there is none but they don't have much of a beach either.

The airport is just five minutes from the airport. Breathe and you'll be on the beach.
Buy your transfers (from us) to and from the airport. It'll be one less thing to worry about.
There are five snazzy, jazzy bars and lounges where you chill or get wild or toggle between the two.
You've got four nosheries with scrumptious cuisine and settings.
Dive into aqua aerobics for the exercise thing, or water polo for the competition thing.
In addition to snorkeling, there's parasailing, motor boating, or Hobie catting (is that a word?).
You can play shuffleboard and tennis, but if you want a smaller court, there's always ping pong.
There's volleyball to enjoy, but if you want near zero physical movement, there's Spanish lessons.
