  Exceptional Resort and highly recommended!

  Exceptional Resort and highly recommended! This was our first visit to Haven Riviera Cancun, but second for many of the people in our group. We stayed at the serenity club, Ocean Front, which is worth the upgrade for the quiet pools and restaurant choices. Miguel was our Butler and was nothing short of exceptional. He was always available (day off and off duty) to assist every need. From check in to check out Miguel had our group covered and ensured we never needed a thing. Just send him a text and he will get it done. A definite asset to the Resort. Request him if you're a Serenity Club guest. You won't be disappointed and hugs are free. The beach was cleaned daily, however did not have many beach loungers. There were many cabanas to sit in, but you obviously can't move them around to catch the sun, and are far back from the water. The pools were always being cleaned and there are many to choose from. The grounds were immaculate. Good luck finding anything out of place or dirty. Make sure to eat at Tahani restaurant for the food and show. One of the dinner highlights for sure. Olios is another must dinner spot. The steak, Tuna and Crab were all perfect. Haven Lobby Bar is a great place to unwind and watch live bands. The Two Sisters, who play twice a week are excellent! They had our group dancing. The other group was 4 guys band. Also great singers. While the coffee in the restaurants was just okay, Mocaccino in the lobby made up for it. Excellent coffee and service! All around, the service made the trip exceptional. There are too many people to name, but once you go, you will understand. The staff really do a great job. Thank you to everyone at Haven Cancun for a memorable and enjoyable vacation. We will be back.

  Good resort but needs some improvements

  We just returned from our stay, and while there are things this resort gets right, especially the wonderful staff, the overall experience didn’t come close to the luxury impression the resort advertises and appears to be hit or miss. From the moment you arrive, you are whisked away to a tropical paradise. The resort is very modern, well decorated and is built around a beautifully organized jungle and the thoughtful layout, with buildings that blend into the scenery is truly appreciated. The resort is the cleanest kept resort we ever experienced. Every night workers wash down the chairs and every morning they are scrubbing the inside of the pool. However, the best experience we want to give a heartfelt shout-out to the individuals who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable: Charly, our private concierge Ceasar, pool waiter Samhel, pool waiter Guadalupe, pool staff Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the complete lack of sound insulation in the room. We had selected an ocean front room and the wind coming from the (closed window) made so much noise. (zero sound insulation). The air conditioning was quite annoying since we had cool air coming on her heads. To be fair, the food throughout the resort was genuinely of a poor quality. Even the breakfast buffet restaurant had limited choice of food, forget about jelly to put on your your toasts or even bacon. All a la carte restaurants were so noisy that you had to shout to maintain a discussion with your partner. No reason for the men to dress up since bermudas are accepted at the exception of Olios restaurant. However, women can dress with their beautiful long dress….. To conclude, we felt this resort delivers “perceived luxury” more than actual luxury. There were too many issues that directly impacted comfort, rest, and the ability to enjoy the experience we paid for.

  Fantastic

  Fantastic resort. We had almost seaweed!! I can’t brag enough about the staff at this resort!!!! From housekeeping to room service to bar and water service!!! The employees make this resort fantastic! Special shout of to Carlos poo waiter!!!! He always had our drinks full and refilled every single day! This is a resort to relax and be calm. But they also have some more upbeat activities for the partiers

  Ridiculous tipping culture

  I stayed at this all-inclusive hotel expecting exactly what was advertised, but it quickly became obvious that tipping is in very high demand here. Although tipping should be optional, it felt almost mandatory to receive the level of service you’ve already paid for. Staff were definitely more attentive to guests who tipped often, and service for others was noticeably slower. This changes the whole atmosphere and takes away from the stress-free experience an all-inclusive stay should provide. It’s disappointing to book an all-inclusive holiday and still feel pressured to spend more just to get basic service. Until the hotel addresses this tipping culture, it’s hard to say it truly offers a genuine all-inclusive experience.

  Very highly commended all inclusive resort

  Everything was exceptional. We have stayed in many all inclusive resorts but the Haven stands out for service, cleanliness and overall quality. The food was very good. So many wonderful staff who were only too happy to refill drinks and make our stay memorable. Special mention to Martin Jorge in the Voramar Italian restaurant which was our favourite - he delivered a very personable service and was very warm and welcoming and wanted to make our stay memorable. I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend the Haven. We can’t wait to come back!
