Like big resorts? Than this is your place!

Great overall resort but definitely not for everyone but It’s extremely large. My husband and I traveled with our 15 month old daughter. We checked in and upgraded our room when we arrived (which was $830 cheaper to upgrade at check in) to the Lady Hamilton side, our room was gorgeous, we had a balcony and ocean view. The resort was giangantic, walking was an option but shuttles (provided) seemed a lot quicker to getting to the main area where the restaurants are. There are two jerk chicken huts which were so good, but spicy! The pools were great, the beach options were nice. Since I did not drink alcohol this trip and the baby was up early, we got ready for the day (since the hotel room was a hike away) and we were able to put our towels out on chairs to reserve them before heading to breakfast. By 10am many people were looking for loungers in the shade and it was impossible! Mid day, the beach and pools were packed with people. This was my third time in Jamaica and prefer smaller hotel resorts, I get clostraphobic and if I wasn’t out of the breakfast buffet (only one open every morning) by the time 8:30 rolled around, I would get nervous. Same with the beaches but at least I was in fresh air! My least favorite thing about the resort was finding something to eat around lunch time. The only option was once again the buffet. There were many dinner options, there was always a long wait so we weren’t able to eat at a majority of them because a 15 month old didn’t want to wait 1 hour, even though we got there right at opening and they did not take reservations. All in all, I was happy with the amount of different places to see and do on one resort but won’t be going back to this one. Hotel staff were all extremely pleasant and nice! Love Jamaica!

Kid friendly - Nice pools

If you are looking for a place to take your young children with you on your vacation, this would be the place. Nice pools and pools for the little once too. The rooms are nice, unless you ask for an ocean view and dont get it like I did. The room we stayed in was close to the street and traffic was non stop and could hear it all night. Cleaning of the room was sub par. There was trash from the previous people in the room when we first got there and when the cleaning people would come, usually around 4 or 5 PM, it was a quick once over. There is not alot if beach front at this resort if you are looking to lay by the ocean. The restaurants were pretty good, the buffet had the same food every day. I has there for 6 days and it was always the same food, nothing new. If you are looking for a quite get away, this is NOT the resort you want to go to. Many young children with parents not watching them. Over its was not with the money that you pay to stay there.

My wife and I had a very pleasurable six-day stay at Grand Palladium last week. The resort is beautiful, spacious, and very well appointed. We appreciated that the rooms were in attractive 3-floor villas spread across the resort. Lots of different beaches and pools--some loud and lively, others more peaceful and isolated. Most of the restaurant meals were very good, but the two huge buffet dining halls were dark, loud, and generally unpleasant--the other, smaller restaurants have a much better vibe. My one big frustration was with the airport shuttle company, which gave us misleading information about our return shuttle trip and then proved impossible to reach when we tried to call them.

Beautiful vacation

This was my first time in Jamaica and this hotel was recommended to me by my mother who came 11 years ago. We travel a lot as a family and have seen good and bad hotels and the Grand Palladium was definitely one of the best hotels I've been to. I came with my boyfriend and we had a junior suite which was really cool and comfortable. It was very well kept, clean, and updated as well. The food at the resort was really really good - I don't think we had anything that we didn't like. The beach was ok on the jamaica side but a bit better on the lady hamilton side ( its easy to walk over). The pools were nice also - not too many kids which was good for us and they had lots of activities and bars nearby. Lastly, the service was excellent. The staff was so kind and hospitable from the servers at the buffet to the security officers by the beach. Overall, this hotel is most definitely worth the value.

What's to Love

It's all-inclusive, all-incredible and all-irie - you're in the earth-heaven known as Jamaica.

The dreamy 86,000 sq. ft. infinity pool with in-water loungers & Jacuzzis - the largest in Jamaica.

Vegging at the Zentropia spa - Turkish baths, Finnish sauna, the refreshing footbath & oceans more.

If you're vegetarian, they've got taste bud-slaying food choices, and no reservations required at any of the restaurants.

The ever-helpful & friendly staff - they're the crowning jewel of this awesome place.

The delish Jamaican coffee in the cafe. Perfect any time.

What We'd Change

The city of Lucea is pretty quiet, but you will not need outside nightlife when the bars, theater and nightclub at the resort are happening!

Why You Should Go

It's just a half hour from airport, but in Jamaica you'll feel the vacay vibe the second you arrive.

There are sister privileges next door at the Lady Hamilton.

The Kids Club for ages 4-12 is where kiddos can meet "Raggs," one of 5 musical friendly dogs.

There's no smoking in all public covered areas on the island as per the Jamaican Health Minister.

For a fee, you can enjoy sailing, scuba diving, the fitness center and more.

On land, there's tennis, archery, mini-golf & for bigger greens, tee off at the Tryall Golf Course.
