Amazing - Already can't wait to go back

K Couples San Souci is amazing. We’re already talking about going back. Food: not great but not bad either. Room service was decent. Casanova is best option for dinner, reservation required. You have to wear a dress and men will need long pants and a collared shirt so make note before packing. La Palazzina also requires a reservation although we walked in a couple times. They have a buffet of appetizers, salad and soup and you can order entrees off a menu. They also have a pasta bar made to order but it legit took 20 minutes so we skipped it. It’s fine, nothing to write home about. This is also the only restaurant we ate at for breakfast - it was pretty good. There's a lot of variety and some of the best coffee I've had in my life. Try to avoid the cats. Bella Vista is this is the grill on the beach...it’s basically bar food but we ate lunch here a lot. The burger and onion rings are delicious, also make sure to get the cookies and ice cream (self serve!). All good. Super casual. On Tuesdays and Fridays they have an all resort gala/dinner outside so you don't need to worry about reservations. The food was good but not great. Bars: The beach bar is definitely where we spent most of our time. It’s the best option for a quick drink without sacrificing sun time. Tip them the first couple of days and they’ll remember you, your order and wait on you first. I never had an empty drink. Balloon bar is this is the spot to go at night. They usually had live music or some type of performance. It’s open pretty late too. Martini bar- We typically came here for a drink before dinner. It’s outside and a little more upscale than the others. Pool bar- We didn’t spend very much time here. When we did, service was slower and people were annoying (think spring break). Sunset beach bar- This is at the nude beach, we tried to go a couple times but it was closed. Pools/Beach: There is no shortage of chairs, rafts and beach spots. We usually went to the mineral pool in the morning which is quiet. They have a cute veggie bar (skip the food) that has great smoothies. You’ll wait a bit but they’re delicious and refreshing. The spa near there also has infused water I typically used to fill up my yeti. Make sure you check out the jacuzzi there - suuuper private and cute. There’s no bar there. In the afternoon we’d switch to the main beach which in my opinion has the best bar. Then there’s the main pool with swim up bar- we only went here once and didn’t stay long. And then you have sunset beach and the nude beach. They’re in the same area further away than most other stuff. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from our room, everything else was a stone’s throw away. We didn't explore the nude beach but heard good things if that's your thing. Unfortunately the bar over there closes early (530PM) and you can't go there with clothes on until 6PM. Activities: Most of the water sports are free. We kayaked, hydrobiked, and paddle boarded. The glass bottom boat tour was cool - it broke up the day and we did see some pretty cool coral. Sign up near the watersport area one day before. There’s an option to do private cruises for extra money but we skipped. Dunn’s River Falls was cool and also free with our stay. It’s about a 2 hour round trip and the climb is about 45 minutes. Once in a lifetime experience. The only things we'd improve on are lowering the number of steps (not a problem if you're prepared), making it closer to the airport (it's a 2 hour trip) and expanding the food options. We'll definitely be going back to Couples San Souci; I miss it already and we've been back for a day.

Amazing Experience

The hotel is beautiful with a bunch of stairs (workout included)! Came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and we were pleasently surprised by the scenery, food and the great service. My girl was very skeptical about the hotel when i booked but she is very happy we came here and said “this definitely exceeds expectations”. The activities are fun, there are a lot of included beach activities: Dunn’s River, snorkeling, paddle board and other non motorized water sports that you can do while visiting. Also you should ask the hotel for a excursion to the Blue Hole which is an unforgetable experience. The food here is great, the service awesome and the staff is very nice and helpful (from guest services at the main lobby to the gardners and room attendants). There are a couple of things that could be better : in room guest dinning and the addition of motorized water activitiea like jet skying and fly board (but hey). I highly reccomend this resort. There will be a wide array of other couples here to talk to and share experiences. The Rum n Ting should be the go-to-drink while here. Come and enjoy Jamaica

Jamaican Hospitality at it's Best

Our second trip was as good as the first 2 years ago. Many staff welcomed us, remembering us from before. The hospitality of the staff makes you feel very welcome. The beach is small and the snorkeling does not compare to CSA, however, the relaxed atmosphere is rejuvenating. The beach night and starlight gala is amazing and they staff go all out on the food, decor, and entertainment. Drinks and food is available until early morning. If you are looking for a relaxation, appreciation, and the beauty of the Jamaican culture, this resort is for you.

Great experience

The beach and pools were very good. The room was clean but very dated. The whole resort is a good size not too big to be overwhelming but big enough to get lost in your vacation. The employees were all nice and helpful but not overly intrusive. Food was good and enjoyable. Just wish the rooms had some light snacks to enjoy before going to dinner or to enjoy before going to bed. Bottom line we would go back again without hesitation.

What's to Love

It's an all-inclusive slice of heaven on a lush cliff overlooking the turquoise sea.

Chillaxing in the mineral grottos and pools. These little hamlets are delicious.

The little huts where you can get couples massages.

All the nooks and crannies where you can enjoy a tete a tete & hideaway from the world.

What We'd Change

Though the property isn't brand new, the upkeep and cleanliness sure make it look that way. Lush grounds and spotless suites really impress us!

Why You Should Go

It's 68 minutes from the airport. It takes a while, but the scenery on the drive is off-the-charts gorgeous.

There's an au natural beach (read: totally nekked) and you can go topless on the other beach.

The Dunn's River Falls excursion is free when you book in. Sweet.

Don't miss the glass-bottom boat ride or horseback riding on the beach. Magical stuff.
