  Truly wonderful resort

  Returned from a wonderful holiday in the Catalonia Royal Tulum on 1st November. We had previously visited this resort in 2019 and decided to visit it again for my Birthday in October. My wife contacted Daniel from Customer services who we had met in 2019 when he was part of the Customer Services team and organised a mobility scooter for me as my mobility had deteriorated due to having a hip replacement in 2022 and a knee replacement in 2024. I really cannot praise Daniel enough for making our stay so special he organised ( at his own expense) birthday decorations, flowers and chocolates for our room and was on hand for the full two weeks arranging restaurant bookings and anything else we required, he even went to a chemist and got bite gel as I had been pretty badly bitten on my legs during our stay. Daniel had been promoted and now holds a more senior position in the resorts Customer Services department and is a credit to the resort for his friendly demeanour and hard work ensuring total customer satisfaction. The only downside of the holiday was the fact that the resort had closed the dinner buffet restaurant with the exception of Saturday Mexican theme night in favour of having a la cart evening dining, this in my opinion ( and other guests we spoke to) was a mistake as having a buffet restaurant available was essential for fussy eaters like myself. Notwithstanding that one issue in which I understand the resort management are looking into, all other facilities were of a high standard. The use of a mobile scooter was a blessing for me as the resort required long walks between the rooms, the pool and the reception/ restaurants BUT the walkways are really not conducive for scooters as the uneven surface was extremely rough and you were shaken violently while travelling if you exceeded 2-3mph Maybe this is an area the resort may look at ( perhaps putting in a “ smooth” area on the walkways for disable access) Overall I would highly recommend the Catalonia Royal Tulum for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. The entertainment team were terrific with Tita being a star who brightened everyone’s day with her lovely smile and friendly attitude and the whole team worked very hard to please their guests. And finally a BIG thanks to Daniel for making our holiday so special .

  Beautiful place with beautiful people

  Stayed a week at the Catalonia Tulum. The resort is smaller and very unique, being situated in the middle of mangroves and trees. It’s just a really nice place to escape your life stressors. The staff are the highlights. Queztabel and Angeles and Susette greeted us warmly every morning at the buffet. They are special people! All the servers were amazing especially Monica and Virginia at the beach. They were really nice to talk to everyday. Jonathon was a great bartender at the poolside bar-few good laughs with him!!! The beach was clean stunning. Walked both directions everyday. Swam in the warm ocean for hours. The al a Cartes were good with some choices better than others as to be expected at an all inclusive. The dinner show was amazing!!!! Next trip we will book it twice for sure. The room was clean and cool but very musty. Got used to it though. Brought damp rid but it really didn’t help much. The only downside to this resort were all the smokers. They were everywhere unfortunately with no staff enforcing smoking restrictions. All other Mexican resorts I’ve been to in the past few years have a strict no smoking policy with designated smoking areas. It’s too bad. We will return here as the pros were more plentiful than the few irritations!

  Another Wonderful Trip!

  We had an amazing second visit at CRT! We love the small, quaint feel of the resort but what truly makes this place is the staff. Everyone we encountered was absolutely lovely! Special recognition to the entire animation team- Abraham, Diego, Eddie, Paulina, and Tita for making our days around the pool so fun. Each day they would stop and check in with us and spend time getting to know us. We did not have 1 bad meal then entire trip. All of the servers were friendly and accommodating to our group. We especially enjoyed Julio, Erick, and David at Mama Mia, Quetzebel from the Palapa, and Alia at B’loved. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

  Beautiful hotel with beautiful beach and lovely staff

  Where should I start… We‘ve been here the 4th time and for sure will come back again. The hotel itself is nice and beautiful with all the green areas. The beach is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Just stunning. 🌴 At the breakfast and lunch restaurant (la Palapa) Quetzabel, Angeles, Reyna and Sussette are doing a fantastic job. On the beach Virginia is taking care that you stay hydrated. They‘re just lovely! ❤️ The entertainment team (Diego, Tita, Paulina, Eddie and Abraham) are super cool and friendly, open and help you with everything. 🥰🥳 they are doing a great job in letting you know about all the activities going on during the day and keep you updated. The different restaurants in the evening are really nice. You can chose between a Mexican, Italian, Steakhouse or Asian. All of them are delicious. As we come back again and again we can really recommed thia hotel. If you want to have a relaxing and beautiful stay in Mexico. 🇲🇽

  Amazing time with friends!

  Rooms clean and comfortable. Restaurants offered lots of variety. My favourite was the dinner and show...phenomenal acrobatics. Pool was lovely and clean. The beach was beautiful, white sand, clear water. Lots to see with snorkels!
