Barcelo Beach very beautiful
We just got home from another amazing trip to Barcelo Beach. This was our 8th time in 10yrs there. This time was relaxation only. Not much has changed which we like. A few subtle menu changes at some restaurants, for the better. The main pool on the family side is closed for a few months to be refurbished but there are plenty of other pools and of course the number 8 beach in the world. We have a pool at home so we prefer the Caribbean ocean. Same staff as always very friendly. We had dinner at Chez Gourmet 3 nights. La Brisa one night and one night each at Kyoto Japanese steakhouse and La Dolce vita Italian. Incredible meals at all restaurants. If you leave hungry it's your fault. We go to Barcelo every 6 months. We have traveled all over the Caribbean and this is by far our favorite. Waiting for January to book for May!!!!!!! Can't wait

Great as always
Went to Barcelo Bavaro Beach in October of 2025. Had a fantastic time at this resort again. Have been here six previous times and every single trip has been outstanding. Our favorite resort to go in the DR

Enjoyable birthday
Evelyn was wonderful in coordinating everything for my mother's birthday. Giving us all the information we needed to book for restaurants and booking such a large group for our stay. There was also a surprise for the birthday girl, in her room was decorated with balloons and a cake. Everything was lovely and the attention was well cared for. I do have to say that the wait time to get some of our guests rooms took quite long when we prechecked in around 2:30 pm and got our rooms around 4:50pm. But overall a nice experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Barceló. So many dining options. Great service and very friendly staff. The spa was superb! Evelyn Esperanza Ramirez was extremely helpful. Our experience was made great because of her!
