First time to this resort for a 4 night girls trip. The grounds and overall cleanliness are superior. Room temperature and bedding were heavenly! The food exceeded all of our expectations. Unfortunately, the sargussum made it impossible to go into the ocean. The staff literally worked starting at or before dawn. They used bulldozers and giant trucks to haul it away, but Mother Nature was relentless. I read some complaints, but their efforts were top-notch. I was able to spend a few hours relaxing on the beach and it was still wonderful! We spent countless hours at the pool. The service was great, but I have to give a shout-out to Miguel! Talk about service with a smile! We tried to find out which section he was assigned to so we could have several perfect days! We booked quick spa services after our last full day. They were a perfect ending to the trip. If I could rate this resort 4.5 stars, I would only due to the lack of Concierge service. We are used to staying in non-preferred at our "go-to" resort. We have always had ongoing in person communications with our concierge. They would even check on us poolside! At Maroma, we were not advised how to communicate with the concierge upon check-in. We did find a chat option on our own. Only one day did we receive a communication listing the schedule of activities. All in all, it was an amazing resort, and we would definitely return!

Great family vacation!

First time with Secrets
Newly retired and this was the first resort on our list, which is hard to beat!! The staff made everything about our stay the very best! The layout, pool area, beach, perfection! Shows & food were icing on the cake. Preferred ocean view…We’ll be back!

Best Secrets resort in the world
Unbelievable experience. Our Butler Roger was amazing and was there for us all week. Waiters and staff went above and beyond all week. We are already looking at dates for our return trip.
