  Amazing birthday ♥️

  Marcelo Marin deserves a raise as Alberto at the main pool wait staff and Alberto servicing the Bali beds. By far the best staff we could ask for!

  Perfect for a romantic honeymoon or a group getaway

  A wonderful resort with amazing beaches and pools. The entire staff was wonderful and accommodating. Really enjoyed the service from my concierge Felipe and Alejandro from the World Buffet. The staff would bend over backwards to ensure you were comfortable and had a seamless vacation. The food was also excellent and I highly recommended getting a reservation for the tepanyaki. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. We went with a group of seven ranging from 30 to 35 and were concerned about being too large of a group for this resort but were seated together for every meal and did not have to wait very long for a table. Our group was mostly looking forward to relaxing on the beach with a few drinks in hand but found the entertainment options to be so fun: macrame lessons, dance classes, Spanish lessons, foam parties at the pool, beach sports, silent disco, karaoke, and more! This trip exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning.

  Paradise

  Our sixth time staying at this resort and it was fabulous as always! The concierges Roberto, Roger, and Brandom are fantastic. They go above and beyond to make every wish come true. The gentleman at the pool Manny, Eddy, and Dario are so helpful and accommodating. The food and beverage concierges Janet and Ivan are also the best in the business. We enjoyed at the resort and bought home some very special tequilas per recommendation of Ivan, and Janet arranged as always the best tables for our dining pleasure. A special thanks at the Sea Side Grill to chef Beder, manager Dagli and server Alex and Francisco for outstanding service. The resort is undergoing some renovations but you would never know. The preferred club’s renovation was completed during our stay and is beautiful.

  Just Wow…..

  We are just back from a 2 week holiday and I have to share our experience. This was our first trip to Mexico and our first Secrets resort. What an amazing place - I’m struggling to know where to start. Arrival - when we pulled up to the front of the hotel we were greeted by Rodriguez who welcomed us like family. We welcomed the cold towels and glass of sparking wine, the check-in was straightforward and we were not harassed by the Vacation club. I’m not sure if this was because we were British and they knew it wouldn’t be worthwhile?.. Concierge - each block has a dedicated concierge, we were block 21 and Daniel was ours. Daniel met us at the room and explained everything to us in great detail. He checked in with us daily and helped us with little things but these little things made a huge difference to our stay. He was attentive but not intrusive (message to management “ you’re lucky to have him”). Room - immaculate, spotlessly clean with quality toiletries. The scented toilet roll blew my mind. There was an incense stick and matches for you to light when you had a bath - these were replaced when required, no requirement to ask. Suggestion rather than complaint - just remember not everyone drinks beer so perhaps rethink contents of mini bar for the ladies. Pool/pool side - renovations underway but this didn’t impact on our experience. Pool staff very attentive - Victor and Wilbert (?) got us hooked on MangoTango’s. Carmen brought us our morning Mimosas - the best way to start the day. At the bit we preferred for sun-loungers there were groups of 4 loungers between trees. I noted that some people took the middle 2 beds which left one on either side which they put towels on too…..this is more of a reflection on them but it would have been nice for staff to challenge this especially when it was busy and people were looking for beds. Restaurants - all perfect although IF I had to choose, the Asian restaurant was my favourite. Every restaurant was intimate and you certainly didn’t think you were eating in a resort. All of the staff were amazing waiters and hostesses. Darwin, Carlos and Francesco from the Asian and Daniel from the steakhouse were soooo lovely and I’m only mentioning them because we ate at these restaurants more than the others. We NEVER had a bad experience. I have a food allergy and this was not a problem. Rebecca at the world cafe makes the best omelettes. Lobby/bar - staff really attentive, amazing and quick at making delicious cocktails. They even took time to explain how to make the cocktails. The only negative about the lobby was the seating formation. Although this was a big area it was a small seating space. Couches are not conducive for couples and I don’t like to have to sit with strangers in an evening. I would prefer more couples seating - a quiet lounge would be ideal. Entertainment - wow….an amazing team, cannot fault anything. We had rain for a few days and they switched activities to keep us amused inside. I loved making bracelets. There was so much to do if YOU chose, no pressure placed by the team. The shows were amazing with quality performances. There was an ‘activity’ which allowed you to meet the chefs and see the kitchens - any hotel that does this is brave. My background is in Infection Control and everything was to a high standard. This was a 10 hour flight for us but it was worthwhile….thank you everyone for making this an amazing holiday.

  amazing service, staff, and area

  This place was amazing and the service was awesome as well. Each day our room was taken care of morning and night. The food was great and everyone we came in contact was very helpful and friendly!
