I’ve been to 3 All-inclusive resorts in Cancun in 3 years, and STV was my favorite. The quality of the food is so much better than I expected given the price point. The staff was incredible. Could not have been more kind or accommodating. Having direct access to the beach was very important to my group and definitely added to our experience.

Chef kiss! Left feelings so pampered though I didn’t go to the spa. It’s truly the little things. After washing off the sand I realized that I had already pass the towel return bin and a staff member out of nowhere came to my rescue as I was trying to convince myself to get back into the sand. Everyone was dedicated to making the trip relaxing and special. I loved the variety of food options and quality as a very picker eater.

I booked to go to this hotel fairly last minute and stayed for 16 nights. Pros: - Large, well maintained, clean and well stocked rooms. - Included daily restocked mini bar and room service. - Great variety of food choices, I know a few reviews say the food is not good but in my experience I can’t fault the food or the restaurants. - Great choice of entertainment and activities. - Lots of Loungers around the pool and beach. - Bar service at your lounger. - Premium drinks included, no knock off drinks. - Vallet parking. - Cake shop. - Great selection at breakfast. - I did the dinning experience and it was also very very good. Con: - Unsure if there is a problem with the air con in 1705 it’s just always very cold. - Sometimes the service and speed of being seated at breakfast isn’t great. - The peanut butter sausages are by far better than the ones that are served next to the scrambled eggs. These ones aren’t great. - Weather in October is a bit hit or miss, a few days were written off due to rain but this is not the hotels fault and credit to them for organising things inside. - Would be good to have one or two smoke/ vape areas on property. - Sports bar needs more food options, wings aren’t good. Staff Shout Outs - James from the Italian restaurant. - Gentleman who cooks lunch by the bar that’s next to the pool. - Lady who cooks the eggs at breakfast. In summary I was very pleased with my stay, staff were great, attentive, friendly and welcoming.
