Secrets St. James Montego Bay is one of two adults-only, Unlimited-Luxury® worlds that combine to create Secrets Montego Bay. This section of the luxury resort features 350 Ocean view suites and sits on over a half mile of sandy beach on a peninsula close to Montego Bay. It features 24-hour room service and superb amenities. Guests have access to a variety of daytime and evening activities including land and water sports, daily special events such as movies on the beach and nightly shows and entertainment. Guests also enjoy full access to its elegantly traditional "other half", Secrets Wild Orchid.

WE HAVE PREVIOUSLY STAYED AT ANOTHER ALL INCLUSIVE .WE KNEW THIS RESORT WAS NEW AND MIGHT EXPERIENCE SOME PROBLEMS. WE WERE PLEASANTLY SUPRISED OUR STAY WAS BETTER THEN WE EXPECTED AND IM SURE THE RESORT WILL ONLY GET BETTER WITH TIME.WE WILL DEFINATELY RETURN AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TO FRIENDS.

THIRD HONEYMOON - with my wife of 25 years

WOW! What a place...wake up every morning to a view that could be on a post card. We were very fortunate to have seven days of perfect weather and we enjoyed every single day on the resort. The staff is very friendly and the dining was awesome - we really enjoyed the experience of adults only...it's the only way to go if you desire the perfect vacation. The only draw back my wife and I experienced was the room service - very slow...the reason may have been our distance from the food and beverage service. Overall I highly recommend the Secrets St. James - we will hopefully return in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay.

The only thing that made this less that perfect were that everything in the resort was not quite finished yet. It certainly did not make a huge difference, especially at the price we paid. I am sure when it's all complete this will be a highly sought after vacation place.

For just opening, we got what we paid for

We went the last week of March, 4 days after the place opened fully to the public. There were many things that were not ready. We had an all-inclusive option and with that, we did not really get a good deal. Most of the restaurants were not open fully and out of 5 or 7, there were only 2 open at each sitting. Service was great, but there were a lot of kinks to work out.

This will be the newest adults only luxury All Inclusive hotel complex to open in Jamaica, and on top of that, you know that with the Secrets brand, your every need will be pampered. The property sits on a half mile stretch of beach so plenty of room to spread out.

The rooms at the far end of the St James section are a little walk away from the main restaurant areas that are located on the Wild Orchid side. However, this means that these rooms and this side of the property tend to be more laid back than the Wild Orchid side. For some people, this is a selling point.

If you are looking for an adults only upscale all inclusive experience, I would definitely check this out. It is just 20 mins from the airport, so you can maximize your vacation time on the beach. If it is anything like the Secrets hotels in Mexico, you will be in for a treat. I am told that the St. James section of the property is situated the furthest from the entertainment and dining areas, perhaps the more laid back of the two hotels.
