  The best birthday trip ever !

  Just returned from Secrets Maroma and I cannot wait to go back. After visiting Mexico before we were swayed by the reviews and they are so right! We booked the preferred club and for us it was worth it for the preferred breakfast and lunch setting and for cocktails before dinner. The service is really the standout at this hotel, our concierge Roger in building 26 was the best and he went above and beyond to make our stay special. Shout out to Fernando and Eyner in the preferred restaurant and Jose for great sundown cocktails. Alberto in the lobby bar and Alberto on the preferred beach also outstanding. Thank you Maroma cannot wait to come home soon 💕

  Can’t wait to return to paradise.

  My entire experience at Secrets Maroma was amazing.  I was at the property from June 19 through June 23rd. and I was totally blown away from the first moment I set foot inside. The staff greets you like you are family and they take the extra effort to remember everyone’s names and room numbers. The rooms are beautiful and the vibes are peaceful. If you visit please keep an eye out for these team members: Roberto - Bldg 25 concierge. He was absolutely amazing. From check in until check out he stayed in communication with me and assisted me with everything I asked for. He was proactive in making sure that I knew about my benefits with the preferred club as well as sharing the daily activities.  He is definitely an asset to the Maroma staff. Miguel - poolside.  I can’t say enough about how pleasant Miguel was to interact with each day.  He remembered the preferences of my traveling companions and myself and he checked in frequently to make sure I never had an empty glass.  At one point on Sunday he even stopped to make sure I was feeling ok because I wasn’t drinking much water and my face was a little red.  I truly appreciated that he took a moment to ensure my well being instead of just passing by when I said I didn’t need anything. Mauricio -poolside.  Mauricio was great, he helped me setup my chairs each morning and he made sure that I was comfortable.  He stopped by a few times during the day just to make sure that my party and I were good. Hugo and Salvatore Oceana servers   These gentlemen bring joy to whoever they interact with.  They were my servers on Friday night and they made my night.  Not only did they ensure that all dietary allergies were addressed they also had the manager verify that they had it correct.  Also Hugo made us a fantastic drink that was the perfect touch after dinner. Salvador - World Cafe server.  This gentleman gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived. He definitely set the tone for our vacation and I was so glad that he was assigned to our table for lunch. World Cafe Staff - Asado Night.   This team went above and beyond to wish my traveling companion a happy birthday.  They brought him a cake and the staff sang to him and allowed me to take some videos and pictures.  This really made his day and it made our first night at the resort really memorable. I have been to many resorts in the Caribbean including Secrets in Jamaica and I must say that this team has exceeded every expectation.  I cannot wait until I can book my next getaway because Secrets Maroma is definitely going to be my home away from home. The staff makes the difference, they take customer service to the highest level and they are some of the most accommodating people that I have ever met.

  A great place to relax and enjoy life

  The all-inclusive model for resorts tends to lack in quality. However, Secrets has done an impeccable job at Maroma Beach. The service, food, and amenities are impressive. It is obvious the resort strives to provide guests with a great experience. I can honestly say they succeeded with my trip. I would be remiss not to mention the seaweed issue plaguing the Cancun/ Playa del Carmen beaches. The resort does an admirable job of keeping the beach clean, but if you are a beach person, I would recommend visiting during the late fall to early spring months.

  Honeymoon Bliss

  My wife and I had a wonderful start to our marriage going to Secrets Maroma. They were so kind! Thank you, Francia for your help in making sure we were welcome and felt at home. The food was phenomenal, the beach was pristine, and the courtesy was incredible. We had a blast spending time there but also felt recharged to return back to civilian life. The beauty of the property, the food and drink, the spa, and all the supremely kind staffers made this experience one in a million. To Oscar, Orlando, and all who assisted, God bless you!

  Great resort

  Great resort, better than excellence resorts. The staff was amazing food was amazing. I've been to over 15 all inclusives all high-end this was top three. Only complaints are the towel game with the chairs the lack of preferred club pool and the sargasm which they can't do anything about.
