Very Disappointing
We stayed here a year ago and really enjoyed ourselves, so much so that we returned home and immediately booked another stay for November 2025. When we arrived, we were informed that our reserved room had been double-booked and our premium beachfront junior suite was downgraded. The beachfront room is the reason we loved our stay last year. Most of the restaurants were closed. For dinner we had the option of 2 seafood restaurants (we don't like seafood), making a reservation 2 days in advance for their hibachi table, or the buffet. Our food options were extremely limited, but you don't know this until you arrive. Even their app lists all of the restaurants and their menus, just to rub it in. = p The rooms are nicely decorated and clean enough, but could use an update. The age of the rooms really shows. The employees to a man were always extremely friendly without appearing fake. We were greeted whenever we came across an employee on the grounds, and the service workers were always polite and genial. There are no activities and few amenities. We did enjoy the spa, but it is very overpriced. I think it was worth it because I received the best deep tissue massage I have ever had.

I would return
I was in room 535 and had no problems, beautiful view and hot water for every shower which I heard others complaining they did not. Prior notice that two of the restaurants were closed would have been nice, however we definitely did not go hungry. Servers on beach did a good job of keeping our drinks full and there were fish to see in the water right out front. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to snorkel as the weather was not nice while I was there.

Never again!
I couldn't wait for American food when staying here. It has ruined an all inclusive stay. The beach areas are fantastic! Other areas not so much. Fantastic to eat next to the beach and after 11 am food can be delivered right to you on the beach. Hammocks are great too! The staff is amazingly nice all the time. Your comfort is their happiness. They will though corner you at your arrival as they want to sell you excursions. They probably get a kick back. Smart people book online to save money. Kudos if you do this. There are a few shops for pharmacy to snacks to souvenir s. I would definitely look to a non all inclusive place. The food was nasty and my favorite meal was the oatmeal which states alot. The pool was chilly, the hot tub warm. The ocean was actually warm too. Im not a drinker but enjoyed the coffee cafe. Everything was delicious there. If you're a smoker, beware, the is one designated place to smoke. If caught elsewhere, warned then fines. There is no canopy for the smoke section also. This is kind of a long review but definitely check elsewhere as disappointment sets in really fast. So, Hyatt, better up on the food and hot water( you won't have it here). Writing this review has left me with 1 Kudos, the robes and slippers. Next time vacation rolls around, I'm staying in the USA, I will eat better and not have to spend 1 whole day getting there and another coming home. We left for the airport at noon and did not get home till 2am. Honestly I liked being here but the food was awful.
