most relaxing holiday
when ever i book a holiday i always read the reviews, but have never written one until now! we stayed in june for 11 nights, we wish we could of stayed longer, all the staff were friendly. The restaurants were good the buffet restaurant had lots of choice and they varied the menu, the roast meats were good. The coffee shop was a great addition it opens at 6.30am with a varied drinks menu, and a selection of cakes ,sandwiches and fresh fruit pots.the grounds were pristine, our room was beach front which was even better than we could of imagined. The beach was clean lovely white sand clear warm waters, like previous reviews sun beds werent an issue. weve stayed at a few carribean hotels we enjoyed our stay here and we would like to return because it was small friendly, clean, and very relaxing due to the thought that has been put into the guests overall stay with the nightly entertainment different pool areas seating areas coffee shop. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay and lasting memories.

There is a reason why people keep coming back …..
Returned after 13 years and many changes in ownership. Overall. a great step forward. Yes, there are things that need improving, overall comfortable and relaxing for this price point. Great beach. Food is ok but not gourmet, as excepted. (You will not go hungry). Management is very responsive. Help can be inconsistent…some great, some as others have stated not so… This is the place where either you like it and keep coming back ( as many during our stay have) or are disappointed as you expected something else. Sorry but this is not Sandals… party place… If you are looking to relax …. good choice !

Thank you everyone at Pineapple Beach for a great holiday.
Check in was via a QR code which was a bit confusing and it was slightly disappointing our room was not ready until a couple of hours after we arrived, but once we were in our room we were instantly on holiday. Our room was everything we wanted it to be. It was spacious, air conditioned, and literally steps from the beach. At night we sat on our porch with drinks in hand listening to the sea. There was plenty of storage space, the bed was big and very comfortable and the pillows were just right. The shower was superb. Room towels were renewed every other day and bottled water was provided. The only suggestion we have would be to change the toilet door to a solid door in lieu of a louvred one to provide more privacy. The majority, say 95%, of the resort staff were extremely friendly, polite, helpful and great fun and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A few staff members were a bit grumpy, but that's always going to be the case. The resort is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Staff work hard to keep things at a high standard. The beach was beautiful and the sea was crystal clear and there wasn't any sargassum. There are three pools and they are all very well looked after. There was no shortage of sunbeds on the beach or at the pools and there were towels available at the various storage points. We booked reservations at the Pineapple Grill and at Chef Pietro's but much preferred the Topaz buffet where the choices were varied and plentiful. The food was never piping hot (including at the a la carte restaurants), but that was partly due to guests not closing the lids on the food containers. The nightly entertainment was good fun and enjoyable with great effort made by staff to provide a variety of different things. We went on two trips, a private island tour and to the Shirley Heights sunset party, both were very reasonably priced, interesting and provided good experiences.

Great resort to relax and getaway!
I wanted to getaway and celebrate my birthday at a resort which was adults only. So, I researched and found the Pineapple Beach Club in Antigua. I'm so glad that I did!! My wife and I had a WONDERFUL time! First and foremost, the staff was EXCELLENT (special shout-out to Vincent, who helped us relocate to another room due to the view!!). Everyone was friendly, customer-service focused, and more like a family than staff! They made sure that my birthday was a special memory . . . and it was! At PBC, they work hard to make sure that the customer is happy by planning daily activities (make sure that you take the roughly 30 minute tour when you get there!!) and encouraging involvement. The musical entertainments were fun! We also met some other couples who added to the fun. The FOOD was top notch! The Topaz is the general restaurant, which is covered, open-air seating. Just beware of the black birds and seagulls! Beyond that, the view while eating is great. The Pineapple Grill, Chef Pietro, and the Orchid (the Orchid requires an upcharge) are reservation only. Do that when you first get there!! My wife also purchased birthday dinner at the gazebo on the top of the hill. The food was great and our server, Yolanda, made sure that we were served well! Overall, high recommendations for Pineapple Beach Club and staff (Anita, Anika, and SO many more! We would not hesitate to go back again! Pineapple Beach Club is not just a resort, but almost a family! not hesitate to go back again! Pineapple Beach Club is not just a resort, but almost a family!

Wonderful 2 Week Stay at Pineapple Beach Club, Antigua
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay from March 15th through the 29th. Our Son joined us for the first week and had a great time as well. This resort is so relaxing. There is plenty to do if you want to keep busy or you can relax beachfront or poolside if that is what you wish. There are daily games and events to join in. You can even take Pickleball Lessons where the equipment is provided. The grounds are lush and well manicured. Nice white beach sand, and sparkling clean pools. We stayed in Room #232. Beachfront, second floor. A spacious room, with updated bathroom and vaulted ceiling. Our view was amazing! I would get up early each day and open the patio door to hear the waves. My son stayed in Room #731 which was a 3rd floor Oceanview Room. End unit with fantastic view of the Ocean, but was up quite a few stairs. If you are mobility challenged, this room category is not for you. Room Service is every other day, which is enough. If you wish anything you can always call down and ask. You are provided with a couple bottles of water when you check into your room, but there is lots of filtered drinking water around, so take a Bubba with you for refills if you want more. The food was fabulous. Check out “The Outhouse” up on the hill for some BBQ ribs, chicken and salads etc. It is a bit of a walk up but the vibe and view is fabulous! You can also take a buggy up and the walk down is easy. There are so many signs posted up there with guest names and dates of visits. Bring your own sign and nail it up there.. The Topaz Buffet was open for 3 meals a day, and they had so many options and you didn’t need a reservation. Reservations for the Al la Cartes are made through Guest Services, 48 hours in advance. Chef Pietro’s is the Italian Restaurant, Pineapple Grill for steak & seafood, and there was also the Orchid which had an upcharge of $40. US per person. Lobster was an extra $15. Their French Onion Soup was to die for. Puff Pastry on top which was quite the showpiece. Men must wear long pants and closed toe shoes for this restaurant. Our favourite though was the Pineapple Grill where men could wear a pair of nice shorts and sandals. Note: As there are “Theme Nights”, make sure you plan your dinner reservations around them. You don’t want to miss these! Every Wednesday night there is a White Party in the garden area behind the Beachfront Rooms. Alternating Friday nights, there is either a Street Party next to the main Lobby Bar, or a Beach Party along the beachfront. They are spectacular, in both set up and foodwise. White linen table cloths, and endless food set up as Buffet Style. Champagne, Wine, and Drink Service right to your table. . They surely know how to do it up right for their Guests. Live music and saxophone player for entertainment. They also have a Repeat Guest cocktail hour, and Manager’s Cocktail hour too. Special activities are posted daily around the resort and bar areas. Don’t forget to check out Café 1761. Great specialty coffees here, as well as pastries, fruit cups, and even great ice cream. We loved the Lemon Ginger Detox each day. As guests we were able to get day passes, or dinner passes to go to the Verandah next door, which is their sister Resort. You can call for a Buggy to take you over as it can be a long walk. We had lunch and dinner at Sails ‘n Tails. The food was good there too. You are provided beach towels in your room upon arrival. People were up by 6 am reserving their “favourite” spot on the beach or poolside. Some would take extra towels from the towel cupboard and save numerous spots just in case they wanted to move around between pool and beach. As a result, some spots were never sat in which led to a towel shortage and too many spots reserved that could have been used by people for the day. Don’t be these people!! And please, don’t be a slob and leave your towels on your chair after use. There are “used” towel bins everywhere. No excuse to not pick up after yourself. Pineapple beach Club has a “Turtle Sanctuary” on the property. You can watch them in their enclosure moving around and watching them feed. From babies to the large Guys. Snorkeling is great off of the end of the beach along the right side looking at the ocean. You can take out the Hobie Cats, or kayaks. We took the big Hobie out with Super Mario. It was so much fun. Check out the Long Bay Vendor’s Mall which is next to the resort. You can find great gifts and souvenirs to take home with you here. We arranged an excursion to “Stingray City” through Mr. G on the beach. He is there daily from around 10 – 1:00. I loved this so much. We got to swim with them and also feed them. What an amazing experience! A must do! My husband booked a double tank Scuba Dive this through Marvin who is also on the beach beside Mr. G. We met some fabulous people during our 2 week stay. A group of 8 Ladies celebrating long-term friendships and their 70th Birthdays. We got them up dancing and they were so much fun! Friendships were made. Each night there is a DJ or live music in the Lobby Bar. Anne Marie (Fun Queen) was the Entertainment Director and was always around to get the crowd going. The weather was great during our stay. We had a bit of rain, but it only lasts a few minutes and then it is clear and hot again. The only negative here is the room charge you pay at the end of your stay,so you need to factor this in. It is $24. Per night per room and an additional $5. Per person per day. It does add up when you stay for 14 days. It was an extra $476.00 added on to our bill and had to be paid on checkout. I wish they would just include some of this in the booking fee as it is kinda ridiculous. The staff are all amazing here! I cannot say enough about them. Each and every one of them went out of their way to treat you as “Family”. We usually stay in 5 star resorts, but this 4 Star Resort is rated highly, and I found it to have better service than most 5 stars. From the vibe to the Staff here, I would most definitely go back. Already planning our next visit. Just go and enjoy!
