  A True H10 Star: Kenddell

  If you’ve had the joy of spending your holiday in the Ocean Maya Royale, you would’ve meet the most incredible man Kenddell, and you should consider yourself lucky. As a member of the experience team, Kenddell isn’t just doing a job - he’s creating magic. From the moment he steps onto the scene, he brings a radiant energy that transforms the atmosphere and makes every guest feel like they’re exactly where they’re meant to be. Kenddell’s charisma is undeniable, whether he’s leading activities, performing on stage, or simply chatting with guests around the resort, he exudes a natural warmth and charm that instantly puts people at ease. There’s something beautifully real about him - his authenticity shines through in everything he does, making every interaction feel personal and meaningful. He’s not just energetic - he’s electrifying. You find him cheering on guests at the poolside games, dancing like no one’s watching during the evening events and somehow always having time for a kind word or a moment of connection. He’s has a way of remembering names, sharing genuine smiles, and making everyone feel special. But it’s Kenddell’s heart that truly sets him apart. V is the kind of person who brings their own magic to the team - the kind that sneaks up on you in the best way and leaves a lasting impression. With a calm confidence and a heart full of warmth, V has a way of making everyone feel instantly welcomed, included and valued. V might be leading an activity one moment, sharing a conversation the next, or simply offering a kind and comforting presence when it’s needed. She has a beautiful balance of professionalism and playfulness that’s makes every experience more enjoyable. Without Kendall, V or the experience team the holiday would not have been as half as amazing as it was. This team is a credit to the H10 brand and made the holiday a 5* experience.   Great vacation

  Wonderful vacation for the price. If you are easy going and enjoy great friendly service with a smile, then this place is for you. Food was ok. Buffet limited choice. Chicken and pork is plentiful and delicious. Steak was available once during the week. The pizza at the buffet was delicious. The pizza by the beach was closed all week. The beach grill was fantastic and fresh The French restaurant Blue Moon was extraordinary. The Italian Dolce Vita was the worse. It's open over water. No AC unless you buy privilege package. It's enclosed side section. Everyone got eaten alive. The host has mosquito repellent for guests. We ordered the Osso Buco. We literally received a dinosaur bone lol. Any like gravy sauce full of fat and no taste. We actually walked out of the restaurant. The Japanese restaurant we skipped all week so I could not review this I want to imagine that no matter which restaurant you went to the service was impeccable. Very attentive and always with a smile The beach is huge but because of the sargassum we did not use it. They do clean it daily with tractors The pool is the life of the resort. The entertainment team led by Kenddell were fantastic. He 1000% makes sure you have fun whether you play silly games, volleyball, paint, cooking class, make bracelets, etc... I don't know how we remembers everybody's name but he does. Also, Alessandro from the sports team is really good. They were all good. Nightly entertainment lacks but they do have a DJ and you can dance till about 11. They also have a nightly show around 9:00. I would definitely go back because everyone is so nice. Even the front desk were so friendly and professional. I had a fun week and even more importantly, I was able to decompress. I feel rejuvenated. Exactly what a vacation should feel like.   False advertising

  Booked two weeks at the hotel Rooms where clean but a bit worn and tired Arrived on wednesday 20th and first night went to buffet as tired after travelling On the Saturday we went into play del Carmen and arrived back late and thought just pop into buffet the buffet was closed so we went to mexican to be told to come back on 40mins Next morning went to buffet for breakfast and enquired about closure previous night to be told it would not be opening in evening due to low numbers at hotel was opened for breakfast and lunch I found this unacceptable as although another 3 restaurants it was set menus and 10 evenings later it got repeatable When I complained to TUI the rep Marco was not helpful also the pizza place did not open the hotel is still advertising buffet evening opening hours Not good enough TUI false advertising and not 4/5 star rated hotel

  Fab food, excellent entertainment at Ocean Maya Royale

  Jenni Overington I have been here at the OMR since 30/08/25. It's a great adults only hotel and is worthy of it's 5* status in my opinion. The rooms are clean comfortable and a/c is welcoming after a hot day by the pool. The staff are amazing, bar tenders, waiters/waitresses and the entertainment team led by Kenndell all do a fantastic job - "Kenndell is the best" he is so friendly & welcoming, and he remembers everyone's name who interacts with him. Adrian & Rusbel serving drinks at El Churro/quiet pool were friendly and always attentive. I attended some experiences during my stay....they were.. Had a lovely experience learning all about the Mayan culture and Mayan food Pilar explained everything well and it was very interesting. Assisting with the cooking experience led by Kenndell and the amazing chef Alonso it was very enjoyable & fun. The appetizer we helped make was amazing, tasted delicious! I'm now looking forward to attending The Mayan Experience meal tomorrow night (Thursday) to taste the other Mayan delights. I also attended the Spanish lesson with Viri it was good to learn some useful phrases that I could use during my stay. I'd learnt Spanish at school but that was over 40 years ago! Viri is a very good teacher and it all came back to me! Learnt to say hello/greetings & how to reply and ordering a drink etc. Tonight Thursday 11.09.25 I experienced the Mayan Show with Pilar as the host. The dancers were incredible and learning more about the Mayan culture and the importance of their history to modern day México as your country celebrates it's independence! The food was fantastic and very delicious a thoroughly enjoyable experience & evening. Would recommend this 100%

  Mayan magic

  A great evening with amazing food and wonderful dancers. Great to learn more about the Mayan heritage All the staff were very nice and always made sure to keep our glasses full
