Nov 13, 2025Live Aqua Wonderful!
This was our first stay at Live Aqua. After extensive research and preference to stay at an adults only resort, we chose here over Secrets the Vine. Based upon the number of people we interacted with who were returning guests, I’d say our first experience is likely the norm. The resort was clean and well kept. The beach is AMAZING! Note that early in the week, hurricane Melissa caused there to be large waves, there was no seaweed to speak of. The beach was raked daily. The Live Aqua staff are what truly made our stay 1st class. While there were so many that left a positive impression on us, I have to mention the following: Marysol who took care of us at the pool and kept the Cadillac margaritas flowing. Francisco who helped us get our pool beds set up. Shout out to Eduardo as well. Heiner and Artemio at the swim up bar. Cesar at Hidden Garden And last but not least Ruddy, our butler. We’re not “needy” guests but he was there when we needed something and handled everything perfectly. Romero was our other butler and made it a point to always check on us in the evenings. The food was really good. Sushi- we ordered Sushi and watched Monday night football in the bar. It was great. I only wish they would have been open for lunch! Hidden Garden -I didn’t see this one coming. We loved the atmosphere and the food was spectacular. It could be spicy however our waiter recommended the sauce on the side and was able to ease into it. MB - we went twice. Everything you read about the habanero soup is true. It’s a must have. Lunch chicken, sausage and rib grill by the pool. We walked past this 2 days in a row without even giving it a thought until someone recommended we try it. Wow. Soooo good and became our daily lunch spot the remainder of the week. The room. We booked the Aqua Suit through Costco. Upon arrival, we were given an opportunity to upgrade to the presidential suite to which we jumped on. It was amazing. The views were great and the housekeeping staff were diligent. It was a nice treat for sure but not something I’d probably do in the future. We used USA Transfer to and from the airport rather than what was included with Costco as we have had great success with them. Highly recommended. The location, the property, the food and the staff proved why there are so many positive reviews and returning guests. We look forward to our next stay!

Live Aqua Fantastic All Inclusive Experience
I had a fantastic stay at Live Aqua my butlers Ruddy and Romero were helpful in making every desire perfect (especially when it came to dinner requests and having a consistent turn down time). It made for the perfect stay and I am already looking forward to my next visit. The chefs are creative, service is warm and friendly at all restaurants and outlets.

Wonderful vacation that exceeded our expectations
We were looking for a relaxing get-away. The weather was perfect and the pool area and beach were so beautiful. We especially enjoyed renting a beach cabana. Recommend a beach view room. Highly recommend upgrading guest status. The 5th floor lounge was so convenient for grabbing a drink or midday snack. All the food presentations were inviting. Liked the bite sized appetizers and desserts- got to sample a variety without over-eating. It was a treat to have a butler checking in on us and taking care of all our requests. Ruddy & Romero were exceptionally attentive. Don’t miss the large breakfast buffet! Be sure to get a smoothie. Great experience all around!

Good experience
Pablo in the kareoke room helped us out a lot and included us last minute. He made our experience very fun. Also, all the chefs took our request serious and made sure we were taken care of.

Excellent
We stayed at Aqua for 4 nights recently. We had a great time and we were treated like kings and queens. The food and drinks were great. Lots of choices. Maggie and Eladio were our butlers and they were excellent! Highly recommend the resort.
