Nice Resort, Rooms Not So Much

The Hilton Rose Hall is a nice resort. The grounds, beach, & pool are breathtaking. However the rooms are small and need improvements. The staff was nice and attentive and they do try to accommodate any issues you have. But in this case the staff was limited in what they could have done to improve our stay. They just need to update & fix the rooms. We changed our room but in the change we just adopted some of the same issues. The guests in the room next to us also shared that they requested a room change due to the outdated rooms. I'd rather stay somewhere else on my next trip. But if you are not big on your room, everything else about the resort was great.

I have taken over a dozen trips thru cheap Caribbean. And this one was not in my top five. I chose it for the private beach, so you wouldn't be approached by people on the beach to buy anything (especially drugs) since I was traveling with my daughter and didn't want her to be subjected to this. So for that reason it was perfect, because I felt very safe allowing her to roam the property and they had plenty of staff around to keep an eye out. I also chose it for the lazy river and the Slides.. I wouldn't call that a waterpark, but the lazy river was great and one of the slides was definitely for brave, or older kids and kept my daughter entertained. I did not find the food at dinner good at all. We have reservations at to the restaurants and both times my food was bland, or too much curry. My husband thought his dishes were great though! Our best meal there was the night they offered a barbecue pool side! The staff was very friendly and helpful - and I definitely enjoyed the coffee bar with juices in the morning. The nightly entertainment was in a small venue and much more quaint than most hotels that have a stage but it still worked and we enjoyed it each night! I would go to this resort again if I was traveling with children – but if I am traveling as a couple choose somewhere else because this is family oriented.

Amazing resort

We stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort April 13-17, 2017. The hotel and staff were amazing from beginning to end. We brought our 7 & 12 year old daughters and they had a blast! The resort went out of their way to provide a wonderful Easter for the kids. Easter egg decorating, egg hunt, games, bouncy house, bull riding!! Insanity! The staff is super friendly, the resort is extremely clean, and gorgeous! I've traveled all over the Caribbean and I think this may be my favorite resort thus far. Cannot wait to go back again. Keep up the amazing work!!!

One of the Best

We've been to about 20 all inclusive resorts between Negril and Ocho Rios. This is one of the best. The resort layout is well organized and divided into three main areas: Main pool, water park, and beach. The beach area is the largest we've seen. Lots of chairs and shade. Beach actually has sand. Activities are abundant. They have soccer games every other day on a field next to the beach. We had a Jamaican barbeque and a regular western barbeque by the main pool. Shuttle bus to shopping is great. Bargains galore from local crafts to high end jewelry. Golf course next door provides a great place to walk. Water park is blended in with a jungle feel. Best water park in Jamaica, and we've seen several. Bars, refreshment stands (serving real fruit smoothies), and eateries (jerk shack, pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers in paradise) are well positioned and abundant. Thermostat in the room stopped operating several times. They repaired it quickly each time, but never replace it. Upon checkout, they gave us a $30 credit in the gift shop for our trouble. Very nice. We're going back again.

What's to Love

We love the great deal on the all-inclusive package at Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa. The luxurious rooms and beautiful private beach should not be missed. And, the resort offers a free shuttle to the surrounding shops!

What We'd Change

Sometimes the wait to be seated at the Buffet takes a few minutes, but when you plan early, you'll be just fine. And, the food will be well-worth it if you do have to wait.

Why You Should Go

With an awesome water park and beautiful, historic golf course, Hilton Rose Hall is the choice for both families and couples looking to be pampered.

Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa: Allow Yourself Some All-Inclusive Fun

If it's time to escape the everyday for pampering under a Caribbean sun, head to Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Your kids will love the new Sugar Mills Water Park and you can relax on a beautiful, sugar-sand beach.

Built on the site of an old sugar plantation, this updated resort offers an all-inclusive package that includes snorkeling, kayaking, wind sailing and 1,000 feet of beach, just steps from your room. The beautiful water park has three terraced pools with a lazy river and 280-foot waterslide perfect for letting your inner child whoop it up with your kids. Or grab your clubs and enjoy Cinnamon Hill Golf Course, listed as a Top Course in Jamaica by Golf Digest Magazine.

If the kids need time away, the supervised Kidz Club or Teen Zone offers fun, age-appropriate activities. You can indulge a little at the Soothie Spa or grab a pina colada at the swim-up bar at Mangos in the water park.

When it's time to eat, you are sure to find what you're hungry for at one of Hilton Rose Hall's four restaurants. Whether you grab a burger at Seaside Grill next to the pool or a seared tuna steak at the exquisite Three Palms Restaurant, you are guaranteed to leave the table full and happy.

We don't think you will need to leave the property to have a wonderful vacation, but if you're looking for an extra adventure, pay a few dollars more for a glass-bottomed boat ride, or visit nearby Dolphin Cove, where you can dance with the dolphins in their turquoise lagoon.

Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa offers fun for all at this all-inclusive getaway.
