If you've been waiting for that jet to land in paradise for months, it's a good thing the airport is only two miles from the all inclusive Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and located off Banderas Bay on the most beautiful beach in the area, this family-friendly resort is just what the doctor ordered for families in need of serious quality time.

It was okay, nothing spectacular
The hotel was okay, but the food was not that good.
The service was great, the pools a little small and crowded.
It is a great hotel for small children, not for older ones.
The special restaurants have great food, but the buffets
were horrible. It is catered more for the locals, therefore
the food is more geared towards them. It was alright,
but I will not be returning.
This resort was a great value.
- This resort seems to be very popular with Mexican citizens. ~90% of the patrons seemed to be Mexican. We really liked this, since we like being in touch with the country we are in (not isolated from it.)
- I think this would be a great place for young couples with young children. They have a very special kiddie pool.
- The food was okay to good, except at the French and Italian restaurants, which were good to very good (reservations required.). The Japanese restaurant was okay to good. Of course, the food was plentiful, and always available from some source.
- The overall facility is nice, but not fancy. (This is not the kind of place with Jacuzzis in each room.)
- The rooms were standard hotel rooms; nothing fancy, but very clean. Our heating system did not work, but it was not very necessary (we arranged to have an extra blanket).
- We played tennis on the clay courts, on of which was fairly beat. For players like us (pleasure, not competition) they were fine. We had a great time playing there.
- The location is very convenient to the marina for excursions.
- It is very easy to take a bus to town (~ $0.50 per person – 6.5 pesos), but taxis are always available.
- I am trying to find a special deal for APR2011 (like we found for our DEC2010 trip). We would love to stay here again.
The people were rude almost got in a fight with a local, He wanted us to leave his beach and even came after our kids yelling obscenities at them.Bartenders udder rude comments at our group .It pays to know your Spanish.And the hotel was on fire when we got there.
We visited Crown Paradise Club in Puerta Vallarta in July, and the weather was great. The resort was very nice, and Puerta Vallarta is beautiful. The pools were nice, but we wish that the water wasn't so warm. It wasn't refreshing at all. The beach was nice, but the water was kind of dirty from all the leaves and things that washed down from the mountains when it rained. We enjoyed the buffet meals and there were always plenty of options at each meal so we could always find something we liked at every meal. The food was good, but not great. Overall, I think this resort was a great value. The service at the pools was very good, but I wish the drinks were bigger and wish they used top shelf liquor.

Room Information
254 air-conditioned guestrooms in three four-story buildings. Rooms include balconies or patios furnished with a table and two chairs. Views are of the gardens or pool area. Cream-colored marble bathrooms provide bathtub/shower combinations, hair dryers, and makeup mirrors. Each room is also equipped with cable TV, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, in-room safe and direct dial telephone. 24-hour room service is available (with limited overnight menu).
This place is made for families. Kids love the water park with its pirate ship, castle and nine water slides. Parents love putting a smile on their kids' faces.
What We'd Change
There's usually a lot of activity around the pools, so if you want peace and quiet, the beach is the perfect spot to find a quiet corner to zone out.

And don't feel guilty if you feel the urge to slip away to the Jacuzzi swim-up bar; the professional staff at the Baby Paradise Club and the Kids Paradise Club have you covered!
Your kids won't be complaining when it's time to eat. The buffet at La Palapa offers an incredible variety of foods sure to please the pickiest kid in the bunch. The resort features a main activities pool, an adults-only Jacuzzi pool with a swim-up bar and a pirate-themed water park area with nine water slides for kids. An introductory scuba lesson is available in the pool area.
Child Care
Babies and toddlers from 18 months to 3.5 years old enjoy the care of the professional staff in the Baby Paradise Club, for up to six hours each day. Daily 9am-9:45pm.
Children ages 4-12 can gather at the Kids Paradise Club for a variety of games and contests, as well as a water park featuring a pirate ship play area and nine water slides. Daily 9am-7pm.
Both the Baby Club and Kids Club are free to guests. Additional babysitting services require an extra charge.

Golf
The resort offers guests unlimited golf at the three 18-hole courses at Puerto Vallarta's Vista Vallarta Golf Club and Marina Vallarta Golf Club. Vista Vallarta features courses were designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Weiskopf, and Marina Vallarta features a course designed by Joe Finger.
Guests enjoy complimentary greens fees, range balls, a 15% discount at the restaurants and a 15% discount on club rentals at the courses. There is a mandatory shared-cart fee per person per round. Caddies are also available upon request at additional cost.
