Sightseers looking for a slice of sizzling nightlife within their sights head for Courtyard by Marriott San Jose, Costa Rica. 119 guestrooms in a four-story building. Spacious accommodations (some with French balconies) feature work desks, multi-line phones with voice mail, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Bathrobes and in-room safes are offered, and complimentary HBO and pay movies are available.

What We'd Change
Though Las Brujas serves up tasty dishes, we wish there were more dining options. Foodies never fear; Escazu has tons of restaurants that are close.
