Great Getaway
Couples Tower Isle is a great resort to go to unwind and relax. Resort is clean, staff is attentive and always available. Beach is on the small side but never had a problem getting a chair. The only things we wished we could change were more options for nightlife and maybe one more dining option. Overall, it was a great trip and had a lot included for the price. Also, the spa was out of this world!!!
This is a very intimate resort. Very private, not a lot of rooms so you get to know the other vacationers and the staff. Do go on the orientation so you know where everything is.
The beach is secluded so you won't be walking along it for miles, it is only 150 yards long, and no shells to be found. You will not see anyone from outside the resort wandering the beach.
Very laid-back, lots of activities some really late (don't believe everything on the website as far as this goes) Only 3 tennis courts, fitness room, spinning/Yoga room, and computer access are great. Cell phone service very limited.
Restaurants and buffet were outstanding.
The service and staff are amazing; you ask for it and they will get it or find a way.
The rooms were very nice with large bath/shower and walk-in closet. Our room overlooked the beach and the "Isle". Leave the patio doors open at night and listen to the waves!!

Great Resort
Couples Tower Isle was an excellent resort. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly, and the resort was fabulous. What else can I say, I would go back to this resort in a heart beat!
Overall we had a wonderful time. The resort and rooms are beautiful, the staff was wonderful, the selection of food was incredible. The beach is nice, however it was smaller than we expected. We would have liked to have had the opportunity to participate in more activities outside of beach volleyball or water sports (which were red flagged/not operable for most of our trip due to the winds). If you are just looking for a beautiful resort to relax you can't go wrong. One thing I was rather disappointed in was the lack of an adequate stage for the nightly entertainment. They had some incredible drummers one night and a steel drum band with dancers another, however we hardly were able to see anything because they are quite often performing on the same level as the audience, and unless you can get close enough good luck being able to see. The area felt very safe, and in fact we took a walk to a local pottery shop and wood carver a few blocks down the street. It is quite a ride from the airport (almost 2 hours), which tends to take away from your precious time there. They could do a little better with explaining some of the excursions, updgrades, and other offers available at an additional charge. We didn't know until it was too late that you could pay to have a private dinner on the beach or on the island. We also didn't expect the Margaritaville evening trip to be more of a night club vs the Jimmy Buffet-esque Margaritaville we anticipated. Be careful if you are ordering wine in Eight Rivers, some wine is included and others come at a premium. Make sure you are clear on things like this or be willing to ask questions. I would highly recommend the resort, but I don't know if we would go back or not because we like to be a little more active/entertained.

No, there are 108 islands that make up Bermuda, 700 hundred mi. off the Carolina coast. No nudity either that I know of, it is a British island....

NO it is exclusive for tower isle's guests only. IMO it's one of the reasons what makes tower isle special from all the other resorts.

I think the only ones who can visit are the couples from San Soui Resort in Jamaica. It is the other Couples resort in Ocho Rios

I know that people from Couples San Souci (which is 5 min away) came over to Couples Tower Isle and vice versa. So I would say yes. It didn't seem that security was checking your guest credentials at the door. Hope this helps.

We only saw people in swimsuits on the main beach. The private island is totally no clothing....no option for just topless.

Couples Tower Isle's private 'au naturel' island, featuring a pool with swim-up bar, is open for nude sunbathing from 9am to 5pm daily, weather permitting The Island will close at 4pm on days when an “Island Wedding” has been confirmed. Transport by small boat to the 'au naturel' island is provided.

CheapCaribbean.com offers a Deep Sea Fishing excursion through Island Routes, which is a 4 hour excursion that includes round-trip transfers. The excursion can be purchased at the time of booking, or added on at a later date (as long as it is at least 72 hours prior to departure).

I know there are fishing charters/excursions available because a few people at the resort mentioned they had booked something through the excursion desk in the lobby. I can't however tell you where exactly they were or what they were fishing for. I would imagine that if you emailed the resort they should be able to provide you with that information.

It rained a couple of days while we were there and on site activities were limited. You can horseback ride and jet ski, just not on property.
On site you can snorkel, scuba dive, wind surf/sail/ski. They also have a glass bottom boat and catamaran cruise.

Horseback riding is NOT included in the package deal but you can plan an excursion and pay for it. Friends of ours did and it cost around $180.00 for 4 hours - they said it was well worth it. We didn't see any jet skis at the resort and don't think these are available. You may be able to rent them but we didn't see anything about this type of activity being available. The falls are great but only take about 3 hours so it's not an all day event - you definitely want to have a waterproof camera for that.

If you book enough additional excursions (meaning additional cost) you can stay plenty busy. They do have beach volleyball pretty much every day, as well as tennis and a couple of exercise classes (usually a mix of either yoga, pilates, or spinning). I don't believe they have jet skiing at the resort, but they do have other water sports (ONLY as long as the weather cooperates). We were not able to try most of the water sports because high winds caused them to "red flag" all water sport activities, meaning they don't run. We thought they would have more general activities throughout the day and were kind of disappointed that they didn't. I wouldn't say we were bored necessarily, but any kind of silly game or activity would have been a welcomed change! The night life really isn't there either. They have a piano bar where you can go in and sing along with the piano player, but no disco/night club on-site. They have some sort of entertainment each night after dinner, but it tended to be really low key (to the point of you wondering if they were trying to put you to sleep sometimes! LOL). Hope that helps!

I am not sure if there is internet in the rooms but they have a room with about 10 computers that you can get on anytime and it is free. The room was never crowed. There was only 1-2 people in the room every time I went in.

In the oceanview rooms you can get the internet connection in the room from the swimup bar, lobby, or business office.

Some rooms picked up a signal, but not all. Mine did not. They have a computer room on site. That was helpful.
