Came out to Panama with my daughter for the first time it was an amazing time . Staying at the westing , had a great experience at the paint shop with Keyla and Mariel they were great people helping my daughter paint.

I’m honestly astonished this received a 2025 award. Maybe it is meant more for families? It is quite dated and has maintenance issues. Elevators, you question once door is closed whether you will actually move? The restaurant food after 2 days is terrible, Tierra y Fuego served us mushy shrimp for appetizer and the ravioli sauce was so sweet I seriously couldn’t eat it. My lunch at star fish grill, ordered Caesar salad with shrimp, I was expecting cold shrimp, it did come with 3 nicely grilled shrimp but they put so much dressing the croutons were mushy and the dressing was an odd flavor couldn’t eat it. I will say the coffee bar had delicious cappuccino and empanadas wee delicious. The lobby bar had excellent service as the bamboo bar at the pool was terrible. Waited a long time to order a drink, 4 people working and one mixing drinks. The one mixing drinks left to go retrieve more cans of something for a guest. Finally someone came to take my order, tanqueray and tonic, grabbed the tanqueray and threw the bottle away, it was empty. The. Proceeded to help carry a keg in and decided to tap it up before helping me. Finally tell me no tanqueray, I asked for Bombay, one drink received a full shot the other received what wa left in the bottle 1/2 shot! We will not return!

Fantastic vacation at the Westin Playa Bonita Panama Hotel
We had a wonderful, fun and relaxing time at the Westin Playa Bonita Hotel in Panama and look forward to making the journey back next year for vacation. The hotel is elegant and grand with magnificent views of the ocean, pools and landscaped gardens. The guest rooms are large, beautifully decorated and well appointed with all you need for a very comfortable stay. The balcony was large with nice patio furniture and a spectacular panoramic view of the beach, sea, pools and gardens. The rooms were super clean as well as the entire hotel. The variety of restaurants was amazing with entrees prepared by experienced chefs. They offered everything you could possibly want. The hotel staff deserve special thanks for providing consistently efficient, professional service, and always with a warm smile. Special thanks to Maximo Rivera, Kinakymya and Nilka, just to name a few. I don't know everyone's name as there were so many. You ALL made our stay memorable. The nightly live music in the lobby bar was a fun way to end each evening. Special thanks to Angie and the other musicians who entertained us !! We'll be back next year. Do not recommend
The location is nice but the offerings for the price is not good. You get access to one restaurant with limited meal options and a snack bar for like chips and dips. The bar is limited also. Not worth the day pass price.
