Brilliant hotel, can’t wait to return
Where to start with this hotel? Firstly the staff make this place feel so very special, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The food has been delicious (even for my fussy 14 year old son), big shout out to Ether who cooks the omelets on a morning, we will miss her making us smile. The entertainment on an evening is outstanding. We water skied for the first time and loved it!…….. all water sports are free which was a huge hit with my family. Our stay from start to finish has just been one of my best experiences of an hotel and we’re very well travelled! We are sad to be leaving but look forward to returning on our next trip to the island. Thank you to all the amazing staff who made our trip so brilliant.

Fantastic Holiday
Such a perfect 10 days at Waves, Barbados - a very well run hotel of around 70 rooms. Staff fantastic always on hand checking you have everything needed. No particular order but my feedback is as follows: Room and meals all brilliant. Very nice coffee bar also offering additional food options throughout the day Staff proactive with drinks all day, whether in the hotel or on the beach or at meals. Two swimming pools and excellent clean beach that feels very private. Beach & sea was amazing i.e. no seaweed and very little difference between low and high tide meaning water sports (including those powered) easily available all day (except lunch time 12:00 to 13:00) and of course swimming available all day in the non boat zone. All Staff really friendly, proactive and helpful. Evening live entertainment on several nights was very good Water sports great - sailing, kayaking including powered options eg wakeboarding, skiing, rings Nice walks from hotel available in either direction with easy access to long stretches of beach towards Bridgetown and past La Cabana on the beach and towards Sandy lane by walking down onto the beach after the leaving hotel. Plus you can walk inland around the West of Indies University, including cricket ground and up the 100 steps which made a change. Jordan’s supermarket just down the road, although we didn’t need to visit the supermarket as hotel had everything we needed. Spa treatments very good - we had two complimentary each. Decided to visit Treasure Beach on the meal exchange for lunch which was very good. Can po by water taxi, reggae bus or a 25 minute walk. Plenty of cold water stations around the hotel to stay hydrated. The chef cooking Demo for Bajan dish was informative and fun. Thanks go to all the staff, too many to mention but these include: Keisha - reception manager. Jacky - evening meal Ether - Who makes the most Perfect omelette for breakfast. Pompadou and all the water sports team Sandra Scantlebury - very friendly and smiley service in the restaurant Kim Young - General manager - always available speaking with guests checking that all is well Stacian - very helpful Ron - rum sampling Devon - Reception & helped with luggage Terence - lunch Donovan - brought over new drink without being asked 👍 Sherrmarke - bar - very helpful, polite, fantastic drinks Jared - Security - very friendly Jamar - bar, friendly Miguel - bar Olivia - bar Janine - Spa Loreal - breakfast - friendly Diight & Oliver Hinds- very nice chef cooking demo Taminte - manager

A Bajan Treasure
WOW! Customer service is that of a 5*. Staff were warm and welcoming. A special shout out to Jacqui, Ryan, Tammy, Ashani, Marsha, Devon, Ebony, Antwoine and the wonderful Ether who cooked divine meals. There are more staff we can't remember the names of but everyone made our stay special and memorable. The room was very spacious. The only reason why it's not 5 star for the room is because we didn't get a sea view. Having said that, we did see a monkey right outside our window. Pros: - stunning Seaview from the lobby - private beach with stunning sunsets - fabulous cocktails and delicious food - breakfast has a variety but what makes it special is that it always has a Bajan option. We are big fans of the salt cod and Bajan soup - entertainment at the hotel in the form of live music and independent shop vendors - good water sports - lovely spa treatment and facilities Cons: - we didn't get a sea view room but do try and get one with the amazing sea view - a detachable shower head or bathtub would be really handy for families - food could be a bit hotter - more accessible plug points in the room Can't really fault this lovely hotel located on a quieter side of the island. Close proximity to Carlisle Bay (10min by taxi). Highlight of the stay is the customer service offered by the staff.

Lovely hotel
What a lovely hotel this was and I am hard to please l! From the moment we walked in to check in and all through our stay the service was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had an Ocean view suite which was spotless and the shower was lovely. Good quality shampoo that I didn’t want to use my own! Breakfast was very good and the restaurant for dinner had options for us all. Lovely little snack shop with coffee, cakes and sandwiches available all day. Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff who made this holiday so perfect. Beach was small but we didn’t mind as the water was still crystal clear and plenty of sun-beds available. Great watersports activities if you wanted it.
