    Bahama get a way 2026

We had a fabulous time. Our room was clean and tidy and the housekeeping was fabulous. Maria was our housekeeper most of the time and she did everything to make our stay perfect. Eileen at the poolside grill ran that place like a well oiled machine. Loved Debbie at the activities desk, Kassey the pool towel attendant was also so friendly. Have to say Ellie our server was our favorite. She was so friendly and wow what a great server. We will truly miss everyone. The lifeguards and bartenders were also so friendly and made it an enjoyable trip, The only constructive criticism I could offer is to step up the two sit down restaurants. The food in the buffet is far better than either of the sit down restaurants. We were not the only one saying that. Other than that everything was above our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful trip

We’ll be back! Warwick = Relaxation + Fun

Our fifth time to the Warwick Bahamas. One of the top reasons we return is the people are fantastic! From the time you arrive to the sad goodbye, every person at the Warwick is friendly, engaging, helpful and excels at their role. We enjoy that the resort is easy and relaxing — you don’t have to traverse a massive complex or use a map. There’s enough of everything you need within a few minutes on the premises. Going ‘off campus’, an easy walk brings you to the Atlantis, water taxi to downtown Nassau, or the Marina Village. Beverages hit the spot and staff is more than willing to make what you’re in the mood for. Food has a strong variety — kudos to the pastry chef and our favorite carrot loaf. And the omelette bar starts out our morning with five stars! Pool staff, housekeeping, concierge, front desk, restaurant servers, hosts, and chefs, and everyone we meet at the Warwick + the beautiful water, sun and beach = a return visit in our future. If you’re looking for a relaxing all-inclusive, check out the Warwick. Thanks to Andy, Ellie, Rico, Debbie, Dwight, Karen, Latisha, Jeanne, Kasey, Sheryl, Lachelle, Nathaniel, Beni, Jamaal, Leo, Branden — sorry if we missed someone but you know we appreciate you all!

    Paradise… in name only!

This was not a cheap holiday and I’m not sure how this hotel is graded 4 star, 3 is a push. I’ve read lots about the staff and yes they are generally ok but nothing special, I’ve certainly met worse but I’ve also met much, much better… Pros. The room was thoroughly cleaned although it was often late in the day by the time the cleaners arrived, so we didn’t bother on some days. The food is great, fresh and well prepared with a sensible level of choice, the desserts are the nicest I’ve had in a hotel and the whole food experience was generally excellent, (drinks in the buffet could be a bit hit and miss, sometimes they came sometimes they didn’t). The cutlery is good quality. Decent mattress. Pool area is nice and the sunbed situation is good with options next to the pool, on the decking or on the small beach area. The Decaf coffee is as good as I’ve had. The toilet flushes really well. Some cool artwork on some of the corridors. Cons. We arrived at 5pm after a long day travelling and our room wasn’t ready which I find pretty shocking, a lengthy check in, no welcome drinks and a $400 ‘resort tax’ I wasn’t expecting… (which some people paid and some didn’t… strange) The Location isn’t pretty, it’s basically set in the docks and not quite what I imagined when heading for ‘Paradise island’ Everything in our room is tired or broken; AC, bath tap, furniture, bedding all leave a lot to be desired and certainly not 4 star… The lobby bar area is awful, think overlit, noise trap youth club setting but for adults, there is nowhere to go for a chilled drink. No 0% beers, the only alcohol free options are either soda water or sugar rich, sickly mocktails. The worst, nastiest horrible cheap disposable plastic ‘glasses’, the kind that hold a mouthful of drink, are used throughout the resort except the restaurant where you get a slightly better quality plastic glass. (The many islands around the world I’ve visited in recent years have banned plastic glasses and straws for obvious reasons) Apparently there is a poolside drinks service… we experienced it x 4 times in 10 days, not that I mind getting my own drinks but when a ‘service’ is promoted then it becomes expected and it would be nice to be asked. Paper cups in the room, it’s an adults resort surely we should be trusted to drink from a nice mug? We did try to take one from the restaurant but were intercepted at the door and forced to transfer the coffee to a paper cup. No coffee facilities at the lobby bar on several occasions and both this coffee machine and the dining room machine were unable to make anything other than black coffee. The staff seem really good at using ‘NO’ rather than finding a resolution. Islands generally tend to have a sensible attitude towards sustainability but there is a lot of unnecessary waste produced by the hotel. Bottled water was freely available from reception - unless you prefer sparkling - NO! (Although it can be purchased in the hotel shop 🤔) I did think smoking weed was illegal in the Bahamas, clearly not in the hotel grounds! It’s a very noisy hotel, thin walls… I could not only hear conversations from my neighbours but also would recommend they get a check up from the urologist when they get home. There’s a pinball machine in the lobby, only one flipper works… kinda sums the place up.

    Day Pass - Personal Experience

Prior to going, I called to find out if reservations were need, day pass options and pricing. I also called a second time for a clarification on a prior questions. Both times I spoke with separate individuals, the first being a female the second being a male. Upon arriving, I went to the front desk to check in and the receptionist asked if I had a reservation for the day pass, in which, the first person I spoke with on the phone, when asked this same question, was no. Then, when asking the time options, the receptionist was uncertain. Additional when finalizing payment, I was given a different price than the one that I was given on the phone. Now being completely frustrated, I told the receptionist, Priya, that this is now my 3rd time having a point of contact with the company and each time given different information, in which she laughed, I assume trying to brush off what I had said. I then told her that guest in my party had flew in to celebrate with me and I had passed on information to them that 2 other receptionist had given me via a telephone call. Nonetheless, I tried to shrug off this very irritating and frustrating introduction to Warwick and proceeded with payment. Also, I’d like to add that I was wearing birthday paraphernalia, and no one at the front desk muttered a word. And I found this quite disturbing as other hotel employees, down to the janitor and janitress upon seeing me all throughout the day continued to wish me birthday greetings all day long. While eating at the lunch buffet, our server, Ian, made me and my guest feel extremely welcomed. He was extremely helpful, polite, funny and truly went out of his way to make us feel happy and satisfied as guests. Ian also surprised me with a handmade foil rose and a cheesecake cupcake with happy birthday written on the plate. Needless to say he did a phenomenal job! Additionally, the food at the outdoor grill was great and the food at the buffet was good also with tons of variety.
