Beautiful Place with Wonderful People
My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for a wedding we attending near by. It was absolutely amazing, such a beautiful property and awesome amenities. It was nice to get away from all the craziness back home in the states. Food and service was excellent! Edgar and Fernando in the main restaurant were awesome! Edgar would make us laugh everytime we saw him. The team work was always apparent and that's very important in the work place, everyone was doing a great job, we felt spoiled. Freddy was attentive on checking in on us around the pool area. But our main guy was Felix, we LOVED him. He took care of us everyday at the pool. He was on top of it always, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of. I would watch him work because I am in food service back home and I appreciate great service, he works hard and it is noticeable! He went above and beyond and I'm thankful for him. Keep up the fantastic work! I hope everyone can get back to work soon. Thanks for a trip to remember, We will be back! Emily & Kyle
Older resort w great service
Christian and Carlos by the pool, Pamela, lily and mireyo throughout the resort have great service and were very helpful and kind. Stayed on the smaller side opposite of flamingo so only Had two Restaurants and was fairly quiet. Not any entertainment or late night mingling.
Amazing Resort - Wonderful people
Our stay at Villa La Estancia, Nayarit was nothing short of amazing considering the crisis worldwide with the outbreak of the Coronovirus. Our wonderful Concierge, Astrid, greets us on every visit there by name and was so accomodating for all the needs and reservations for dinners we requested. She is professional and speaks fluent English. Christian is also most helpful to us and always checking up on us to see if everything is good. We love the staff there. Esbai, pool concierge greets us by name each visit as well and always takes good care of our pool and beach needs. Our lunches at La Pariila were superb and our favorite waiter, Ramon, again, calls us by name and so genuinely accommodating to every need. His warm and friendly personality is special. Ricardo at La Parilla, Raul and Freddy made sure we were always taken care of. We love VLE for the people and service.
5th visit to this beach-Bring your binoculars
We requested close to the ocean, higher floor and connecting room with our friends. We got furthest away from beach, 2nd floor and no connecting room. Two days later they put us next to them but they had to move all their stuff. So requests didn't seem to help. With that said....we Love this resort. It is quiet and so relaxing. We love the One Bedroom Villa Suite. It is like a small condo. So worth the extra money. It was $280.00 more for the full week. Full kitchen, living room, laundry, and 2 full bathrooms. I would not recommend the Deluxe Superior Room unless you know who's in the villa suite next to you. You share a patio with them. They do have dividers you can request. Also if you're older the showers are in the bathtubs so it's a HUGE step over, not a walk in. There are grocery stores close by. We bought drinks, snacks and breakfast food then went to dinner each night. There are wonderful restaurants close by. We went to Karens, Marks, El Gordo, Adaultos, & Sandrinis in Bucerias And Sonora Al Sur that our taxi driver recommended. All Excellent! We hit the La Cruz Farmers Market Sun morning & went to lunch at La Peska. Loved the food & views there. There is also a market next door on the Villa property that has a good variety of food & drinks. The beach is wonderful and you can walk for miles each direction. It is very clean. In Jan there was not much sea glass, but this trip we found lots! One morning I saw schools of stingrays swimming close to shore,(get up early) and one morning turtles hatching & trying to make it to the ocean. Also everyday we saw dolphins playing and jumping and whales. (even a baby whale). Pack binoculars to see them the best from your beach lounge chair. The service at the beach and pool was outstanding! They would set up your chairs with towels and bring drinks and food. (great fish tacos) Watch for happy hour each day! We also tried the spa massages at the resort ($120.00 for 50 min, wonderful & luxurious) and the beach massages ($20.00 an hour, also wonderful & loved the sound of the waves) The Bell men were awesome getting us transportation each day. We had lots of the same drivers so that was nice & we got to know them. We booked thru Costco Travel. Great deal! And sorry to the resort, but do not do the time share presentation. As much as they tell you it will only last 70 min & you'll get all these deals, it just isn't worth someone being mean to you and ruining your day. We did it a couple yrs ago and some friends we met did it this year. Sounds like it hasn't changed. So I don't recommend you waste a half a day on it. And last but not least the maid service is impeccable! Leave tips everyday for them. They so deserve it. Looking forward to returning. Our goal is for two weeks next time.
Great Location , Friendly Staff, Property in Perfect Condition
Overall a great place, food is excellent, beach is beautiful, pools are clean, can walk for miles. David at the pool was awesome, he made sure we had everything we needed. We had breakfast in the mornings there and the buffet had a good selection. The food at the steakhouse in the evening was very good as well. We had a Two bedroom suite and it slept the 5 of us very comfortably.
