Feeling SO SAFE at this resort!
We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with a fantastic view thanks to Iris Luna, the Club Manager. We celebrated our 9th anniversary here. Look what housekeeping did in our bedroom! Thank so much, Martina Hernandez, for such a romantic touch! Martina cleaned our room daily with such care, taking extra time to sanitize high touch areas like countertops, refridgerator, remotes, and telephones. All of the employees wear masks and many wear gloves. We were to leave July 11, but feel safer here than in the states! So we extended our stay onsite for another 10 days!!! The restaurants are open, but not serving buffet style. The pools are nearly empty and super poolside service. The activities staff still has activities for adults and children with social distancing in mind. Thanks Kary, Monse, and Abraham. And also a big thanks to Daniel at the front desk, and the bellmen Ismael, Joel, and David for such outstanding service...as always. We've never had a more enjoyable stay!

Cap. Agustin Vicente Edgar Lorenzo Higo and Angelica. The time that we were there at the resort the following people were very helpful and courteous. We never had to wait for a long time for anything that we needed. Always smiling and happy. Can't wait to go back. Thank you, Laura and Jeff Howard
A great place to relax and unwind
We had a wonderfully relaxing week. The staff are extremely welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. The entire resort is impeccably clean and well cared for. The grounds and pools are beautiful. The beach is clean. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared. More than we expected.
Amazing Resort!! Highly recommended :)
My husband and I visited here for our honeymoon during the first week in June 2020. Everyone we met was very nice from the airport to the resort. We don’t speak a lot of Spanish but that wasn’t a big problem for us, many employees that we talked to knew a lot of English. The sand on the beach was soft and the view was fantastic. The resort is beautiful and very nicely maintained. Our room was cleaned often and the service was 10/10. We highly recommend visiting this resort. Every time we would sit by the pool or beach an employee would come ask if we’d like drinks/food. They would continually come back to check in on us and that was a part that we really liked. There were three pools and two hot tubs and multiple restaurants to choose from for each meal. We had the all-inclusive package which was very nice and useful. All the employees were very nice and the food was great!! Egar, Hugo Lorenzo Agustin, and Agelica Enrique worked at El Patrón and they were especially great and helpful!! My husband wanted to specifically suggest ordering the Machaca Burrito. This resort is fantastic and we really hope to visit again one day.
Not horrible. But not deserving of my vacation time
Don’t know where to begin. The list of cons is long here. And I don’t want to rip it apart. But worth noting if you’re looking for a quality hotel, this ain’t it. I’ve been the only guest on the beach for 2 hours. I had to call the hotel to send one of the servers to me because we didn’t want to leave my belongings to ask to pay a bottle of water and a lunch menu. It’s embarrassingly unorganized here. I’m annoyed because of covid I assumed this sort of resort would want and be excited to have new guests.
