The resort is old but enjoyable, the elite beach beds section is very nice, pools and food are great. Resort personnel are welcoming and glamour of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Big shout out to Briseida that turn our bed every night, also Alfredo who took care of us and all elite members at pool and beach sections. Angelina our concierge was super helpful.

Excellent waiter service on the beach. Rafael was always there when we wanted something to eat or drink and delivered promptly. For us he will be remembered as the best of the best af an excellent resort staff.

We like the pool area by the beach. Alfredo is the pool concierge and is one of the reasons why we have been coming back to this resort for so many years. He always has a smile on his face and happily tends to everyone’s needs. Everyone loves Alfredo, he is one of THE BEST! MARK & MARY R.

Best hotel staff
We love going to Villa del Palmer every year. We have managed to make a lot of friends there. with guests, and with the staff as well. Alfredo, our pool concierge treats us like family. We look forward to seeing him every year.

Perfect for an easy, relaxed vacagion
The staff are what make this place work, absolutely. Pool/food? Talk to Daniel. Front desk? Alvaro. Not a single staff member was less than a 10. Food was above average, with dinners exceptional. Cleaning staff good, rooms dated but comfortable enough. Cabs are easy, there's a good taco place across the street.
- AdvisoryBeginning May 6th the hotel is removing the Villa del Mar section of the hotel to construct new buildings. The construction site will be closed off to minimize noise. Some locations and services of outlets may change from time to time. Scheduled completion is 2027.
