Awsome activities staff! We really enjoyed playing Loterea and Blackjack with Mar! She kept us entertained all afternoon.

Treat you like royalty
We caught mahi-mahi one night and selfish the other night the chef prepared fillets, ceviche, and a spicy rendition, which every meal represented the best fish I’ve ever tasted probably one of the best meals I’ve ever tasted. I cannot be happier. They did everything to make us feel like we were number one highly recommend.

Worst experience ever - disrespectful and discriminating
Our experience with the Villa Group Vallarta was one of the worst we’ve ever had in the hospitality industry especially in Mexico. Upon our arrival, after a sleepless night and a 6-hour flight, we were pressured, disrespected, and threatened with reservation cancellation unless we attended a presentation immediately next morning. This is completely unacceptable behavior toward any guest. Despite our exhaustion, we attended the presentation in good faith and even reached an initial agreement. Yet the staff—Monica (reservations) and Rubi (reception) - failed to honor it, refused to move us to another property because of the low quality resort we checked in, and showed zero empathy, zero support, and zero professionalism. The resort itself was extremely noisy, low quality, and below the standards the brand claims to represent. The only positive part of the experience was Aldo and Adriana from sales - professional, respectful, and empathetic. Unfortunately, even they could not get management to take any actions along with their manager Benjamin. The most shocking part: Management simply did not care. We reached out for help through email, phone, and the website and after 4 days, guess what - there was still no response. No acknowledgment. No apology. No follow-through. Nothing. This is no longer about a communication problem. This is about broken SOPs, poor quality control, negligent management, and an unacceptable attitude toward guests. A brand that took 40 years to build destroyed its own image in 40 seconds of an interactions with unprofessional team. To minorities, diversity groups, and Muslim travelers: Be extremely cautious. Our experience included clear disrespect and discriminatory behavior, and this should not be ignored if you would like to have a good vacation. Thank you, Villa Group, for spoiling our vaccine & one entire week of our lives, showing us your true core values and reminding us to never deal with you again.
