Love it here!💕
We have been here a few times and just love the suites. The resort itself is a great size (not so big) and there are many activities scheduled throughout the day. The gym is also great. This time was a bit different than other times because of the pandemic. We were trying to get ahold of our airline to find out about switching our flight and the concierge, Martha, was amazing in helping us. Oscar was also helpful. The only thing that was a bit disappointing this time was that the suite we had did not have a convection oven like we have had before. It was just a microwave so we could not bake things like we usually did.
I am a time share owner and spend a week at the Villa Del Palmar Flamingos every February and the Villa Del Arco (Cabo) in the summer. This resort is beautiful, We pay for the "all inclusive" plan and the food and drinks are great. Service at the pool/beech and all the restaurants is outstanding. Special thanks to Roman and Enrique. Rooms are cleaned daily, the maid service is exceptional. The only issue with this resort is the check in process. I booked my 2 bedroom unit almost a year in advance and upon check in we were advised that they did not have any 2 bedroom units available. After arguing with multiple front desk employees for almost 30 minutes, the front desk manager finally arranged a 2 bedroom unit for our first night and we were required to move to a different 2 bedroom unit for the remainder of our stay. This is totaly unacceptable, but it happens at both the Flamingos and the Villa Del Arco in Cabo almost every time we check in. Its been and on going issue for years. We were harassed by a Concierge for most of our week's stay and pressured to attend an owners meeting. All they were trying to do was to get us to pay more to upgrade our membership. For those interested in a Villa's Group time share to purchase, I would reccomend looking elsewhere. Its apparent that they have oversold their time share units forcing current owners to book as far out as a year in advance, or more. They always say they are !00% full which is never the case. Hope they address and fix the check in process, once and for all....
Lovely stay in a beautiful setting
We recently stayed for three weeks at Villa del Palmar Flamingos. This was our fifth time and we can't say enough good things about the resort. We found the staff very warm and welcoming. We love walking the beach in both directions and made it all the way to Paradise Village twice. Bucerias is a lovely little town and we made many trips back and forth. At the resort we participated in acqasize classes led by Bette or Jose. They were both amazing and made the class lots of fun. My husband also loved the pool and beach volleyball - again thanks to Jose and Alex. Half way through we asked for a room upgrade as the Sushi restaurant and entertainment stage was right outside our balcony. Umberto at the front desk was most considerate and helpful and switched us to a room on the 7th floor with a beautiful view. We practiced tai chi in the garden each morning and got to know Sergio, one of the gardeners. He was very friendly and informative, encouraging us to keep using the space. We were very impressed with the landscaping and all the work the gardeners do. We left on our planned date of departure while the COVID-19 crisis was unfolding. We were impressed with the step up in cleaning and communication while still maintaining a vacation resort atmosphere.
This resort went beyond friendly and helpful during the Covid19 pandemic. Our stay was enjoyable until the very end when the resort was forced to close. The concierge department--Martha and Coral--helped us navigate travel changes with confidence. We will be back soon.

We go every year and enjoy seeing our "friends" with every visit... They all do a truly amazing job with a sincere heart... Always smiling, always helpful, always warm...
