Everything was done very well and good quality. The food, the room service, all the service was extremely friendly and efficient. We were looked after exceptionally well. Clean beautiful grounds, peaceful. Very nicely kept beach for swimming and playing. Cocktails were #1 at all bars and restaurants. Food was high quality and fresh, very good selection. Room service was superb. Pools were perfect temperature from cool to very warm available. Spa experience was great too. Recommend for all but families especially. Hotel caters to just the right number of guests so it is fun but not loud and crowded. Rooms are very well appointed !

Overall it's a nice resort to stay at. While the options for food are limited and confusing at times, the quality of the Mexican food and the breakfast buffet is very nice. I will say though the dinner options feel limited between two restaurants because the dinner buffet was never open for some reason and the bar food was not something I'd be interested in. Room service food is very basic and don't recommend it. Another reason I took a star off is the lack of entertainment in the evenings. Resort doesn't offer really anything decent or enjoyable

Great staff!!!
Very nice property with excellent staff/service. One person really made a big difference for us, Pedro Hurtado. We’d had a hard day personally, and we landed Pedro as our server at dinner. He first made us laugh, then he spoke kind words of wisdom that touched us deeply, and he helped us find our gratitude and celebrate it. We left dinner with broad smiles on our faces, and a few nice memories. Thanks, Pedro!

Vacation with the kids
An all around great experience, food, lodgings and the staff. Special shout out to Ruben and Eric who serve around the pool, so friendly and Ruben helped me brush up on my Spanish. We will be back.

Beautiful Resort, Wonderful Staff - 10/10
We had the best week at Villa Del Palmar. Everyone was so friendly, rooms were amazing and the food was delicious. The pools were big, clean and not cold. There were many hot tubs scattered around for everyone to enjoy. The beach was clean and there was a lot of fun activities going on there. The grounds were beautiful, with many areas to lay out, a carousel for the kids to ride out front (at neighbouring resort), and many shops. All staff in the restaurants, housekeeping, concierge & lobby were so friendly and kind. Very accommodating to a family with a picky toddler. Benito, who was our server by the pool every day, was the absolute best! He remembered our names, our drinks, was vey attentive and we enjoyed chatting with him. We can’t wait to come back!! Thank you for a great trip!
