Great Trip, the staff made it wonderful.
Had a great trip to the Villa Del Palmar the last week of June, 2020. The resort was lightly booked and the staff did an awesome job with constantly sanitizing and social distancing. While the resort is very nice, the food was among the best in the area.... it was the staff that made the trip. I have to give a shout out to: Moises and Sam (I Am) at the pool. They were very attentive and were there for us every morning. They worked their butts off, but were happy, laughing and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Benjamin and Wilbert at the pool bar/restaurant. After the first day they knew our drink orders by heart and kept them coming. We had a large group so we kept order food and drinks all day. We kept them both on the go, but they were always right back for more. They laughed and were happy all day. Alberto at Davino and Hector at Hiroshi were two of the best waiters I've had. After the first few days we specifically asked to be sat at their tables. I can't say enough about all the staff. Thanks for a great trip.
Needs to be closed permanently!! I was so embarrassed to suggest this hotel.
Have you ever slept on the train 🚂 tracks before. Well if you stay here you should expect a super loud cruise ship horn every morning at 7am. It’s with in about 100 feet from the ferry dock to Isla Mujeres. No working elevators. No Batteries 🔋 in the safe or TV. The bartenders trying to up sell you saying that they only sell .. vino by the bottle? A total lie!! The staff is poorly trained. Check in took.. 4 hours and we went through 3 rooms. Room service was slow. This place is the worst all inclusive in the Riveria Maya!!! BLACK MOLD....Enough to make your eyes 👀 water. I use to be a owner for 10 years and I can tell you this is .. Definitely the worst property in the Villa Group.
Fantastic Vacation and Best Customer Service
In February, my husband and I went here for our 3rd time. We love this place. We stayed there over my birthday. Another couple came with us and it was their second time visiting. We are planning a 4th trip next February. We first found this place through a promotion about 5 years ago. We loved it so much and told all of our friends and family. So far, 10 other couples have vacationed here based upon our recommendation. And most of them have already been back for additional vacations. Our trip in February was made even more fantastic due to our check in. Juan Carlos checked us in and even upgraded us. We did not expect it but we were truly grateful. One of the house keepers, I believe her name was Victoria, was awesome also. I have no reservations about recommending this place to anyone. Last year we decided to try another resort because we were traveling with other friends and they had already booked there. The resort was more expensive than Villa and it was very nice. However, I had the worst check in experience that I have had anywhere. They charged me more than my reservation confirmation stated and it took me contacting their corporate offices to get things straightened out. I will never again stay anywhere in Cancun other than Villa.
Wonderful paradise in Mayan Riviera
This was our second visit to Cancun this year and were a little skeptic as to how it would go with the whole Covid situation going on. All our expectations were surpassed as far as safety and hygene is concerned. From the moment you arrive your luggage is sanitized and everything they do is oriented to make you feel safe. The service and food quality are amazing in all restaurants. Top shelf liquors are included in the all inclusive package. The rooms are very neat and clean as is the entire property. 100% recommendable. The Room Service Manager herself, Ahide Hernandez, delivered my daughter's birthday celebration arrangements and they had additional details like decorating the room and bringing a delicious cake beautifully decorated which we did not expect. The staff is incredibly kind and make you feel at home every second.
everything was perfect, the attention, cleanliness, delicious food, impeccable facilities, the staff in each area made us feel at home, the events of each day we liked because they were for the whole family, we enjoyed the pool areas From the first day, the only drawback was that there was a lot of sargassum on the beach. But in general we loved everything.
