We love it every time!
We travel to Villa Del Palmar annually and love it every time! The rooms and grounds are always clean and the staff is always friendly. Ask to sit in Eric's section at the pool and he'll teach you some Spanish!

Definitely a three star resort with some four star touches here and there.
We stayed at this resort over 20 years ago, and unfortunately it’s in need of a refresh. From the moment you walk in, it feels less clean and polished compared to other resorts. The service overall is outstanding, but the restaurant experience was confusing and disappointing. We were not on an all-inclusive plan and attempted to use hotel credits received after a timeshare presentation. The credits were devalued, difficult to use, and came with a mandatory 15% gratuity, which was unexpected. The restaurants overall aren’t that great! They have a Japanese restaurant on the second floor, which has no outside seating and feels cold and uninviting. While the staff appears to work hard and is friendly, this is not a property I would consider truly luxurious, especially given current standards and pricing.

You won’t regret it! 10/10
Came with my husband and our 6 month old daughter we did 2 weeks and never wanted to leave. The location was stunning everything we needed was there or a 20 min uber to the local Walmart. The food was amazing there were a couple of issues regarding food orders however the team corrected everything for us immediately. The staff took care of us very well I would love to give a special shout out to the following people: Renan you took care of us poolside and your wife in the restaurant you both went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time thank you. Marisol you bring us room service a few times you were so friendly our baby would be so excited when she saw you, you really made an impression. Jorge (did the towels) and Emiliano (black jack and daily pool fun) special mention to you both Jorge you took care of us and Emiliano we had so much fun playing games and spending time with you all. If any of you are reading this Panda says hi 👋🏽 🐼 We will most definitely be back! Our suite was amazing all the staff were very friendly the vibe was wicked. Heads up concierge will invite you for a free breakfast next door it’s just a timeshare seminar. That aside 10/10
