Best holiday experience ever.
It was an amazing experience, 10/10. Everything about the resort was breathtaking, from the food, to the beach, the pools, the activities, the clean and cozy rooms and best of all, the warm and friendly staff. Special shoutout to Martin and Jaime at Caprichos restaurant, great guys. I can't wait to visit again. By the way, every meal at this resort was excellent, I was so blown away. Paying for the all-inclusive option was the best decision ever. I had the best time.

Best vacation ever!
This was our 7th time to Villa Del Palmar Cancun and it did not disappoint. Amr and his team run a top notch F&B operation. Special shout out to Juvencio our waiter at Casona who was just amazing. Luis and Raphael at the beach bar kept the drinks flowing and Raul, looked after our every need in the beach. Can’t forget the best entertainment staff member Edgar and his coworkers Alfredo and Osman. Everyone makes you feel like it’s your second home. Will be back soon. Thanks again for an amazing vacation.

Worst experience in cancun, skip this resort
Rooms are small and old looking, we were in room 1609B its and all included resort but no everything is included like the $35 coconuts by the pool. Restaurants are ok caprichos is by far the worst all food was cold. Managment really is no help we got a concierge but the moment we told her we werent interestd in the timeshare presentation its like we didnt exist, also you get a check after every meal or drink order be carefull some of servers use their phones and give themself tips, on top of the cash tips we had already given them. On various occasion servers would not show us their screen before the swipped our bracelets complained to the front desk and on checkout we had so many extra tips we did not approve, this place seems great if your a member they have a whole restaurant that only members can go to , you have to make reservations to restaurants but the day we got there., we tried and they were all booked for our whole stay, we ended up just walking in and seeing if there were any cancelations every night we couldnt get coffee anywhere they push you towards their market but thats not included.

Very unpleasant experience
The tldr on this review is that this is a great hotel if you have a large brood of noisy obnoxious children and you're just looking for a cheap vacation in the sand. This is a far cry from anything you would consider luxury however. The rooms are super dated and dark, the service is very lackluster and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. They allow up to four children in a one-bedroom suite, so expect lots of early morning wake up with Screaming children, fighting, yelling, you name it. It is not anything close to a calm oasis. Unfortunately our stay was marred by a incredibly loud family of 6 nextdoor. The volume was insane, but even when they were talking at a normal volume we could hear every word. Please note that I normally leave only very positive reviews. If you look through my profile you'll see that the vast majority of my reviews are glowing. So I really hate leaving somethingthis negative but the experience was pretty dismal. Pros: The pool area of this hotel is quite lovely. Lots of different pools and hot tubs and warm pools for everyone to enjoy. Even on the most crowded week of Christmas/ New Year's, the pool area itself never felt crowded. Although it is quite a fight to get a sunbed. Be prepared with cash to bribe the cabana boys to help you secure chairs, especially if you want anything with an umbrella. The spa was lovely, and I had two incredible massages there so no fault on the massage or the spa othher than that they are a little expensive but that's what you pay for at the resort. $150 USD for a 50 min reflexology butt was really a nice experience. The other plus is the food and drinks, most of which were quite good except for the breakfast. We did not enjoy the only breakfast option in the resort which is a very noisy and mediocre buffet. However, the dinner option, especially at their Italian restaurant was very good, and the drinks were always well presented and carefully made. The lunch options are super mediocre. Cons: This is a very dated resort that bills itself as "completely remodeled". It is not at all. Our room 3504B was dark, old, with the old style textured walls, ancient bathroom with dark cabinets, and a super ugly polyester rug that never got changed and was badly stained. As I mentioned before, the setup of the rooms being adjoining with a door makes them very loud. You can hear everything in the hallway, and if you are unlucky enough to have loud neighbors you will suffer. The staff and service especially the front desk is pretty lackluster. Despite multiple complaints about the noise from the brood next door, we were given only a $31 credit on our bill. Being high season, we couldn't move rooms as they were full. Lastly the "ocean view" rooms do technically have a view of the sea, but you mostly see the resort and pool area so that was a little disappointing.

Great resort!
Fabulous resort with the most accommodating, professional, kind staff. Great restaurants. I just wish it weren’t so far north. Great access to Isla Mujeres, tho!
