    Everything Past the Front Desk is Great

    This was our second visit to Villa Del Palmar, and it is our favorite vacation destination. Both times we've traveled here as a family we've brought friends with us on our recommendation and all have enjoyed the amenities. The family suite is unmatched in its size and accommodations for our family of 5, with everyone having plenty of space. We love the room service as well as all of the restaurants. We didn't have a single bad meal during either of our stays so far. The pool is wonderful, and the activities ample for our kids. The wibbit, children's pool, kayaks, etc. are all great. The only problem we had this year was major. My father in law died, and his funeral plans affected our reservation. We were able to arrive late, but the resort did not have availability to extend our stay on the back end nor were they able to refund us for the unused night. We understood the extenuating circumstances and didn't expect them to be able to accomodate, though we hoped so. But we were very disappointed in the customer service from the front desk. When my husband dealt with the front desk, there was no appreciation for the loss of his father, nor any desire to see what could be done to mediate the situation. An offer of "10% off a future spa treatment during a future stay" was a disappointing answer when we were out lots of money because of an unused night. We were sorry to have such an unfortunate experience with management when the rest of our stay was so lovely. We have been loyal customers who have recommended the resort and even brought extra customers with us multiple times. We will now have to think twice about recommending such a wonderful place.

    Itza y Cesar

    Itza is wonderful. She greeted us with a big smile and provided us with information for our stay. She was available throughout our stay to answer any questions. Our 2 yo, talking to Itza during our stay, "I love you." We thoroughly enjoyed Cesar's pleasantness and service at breakfast. Excellent. We were 3 generations and our rooms (fifth floor, 2br suite) were perfect for us. Deck with view of the ocean. Comfortable beds. Stocked fridge. The pools were sparkling, spacious and not overcrowded. The beach was clean with easy access to the beachside bar. The ubiquitous waitstaff was always available to bring beverages and snacks. We easily walked to the ferry to Isla Mujeres, where we rented a golf cart to explore. Nice beaches there, also. We highly recommend Villa del Palmar Cancun. Zero negatives.

    Amazing!!!!!!

    From beginning to end our stay at Villa Del Palmar was amazing! The food was delicious. The accommodations were beautiful. Everything was clean and kept that way throughout our stay. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were all amazing but some exceeded expectations. Candelario, one of the servers by the elite pool always made sure we wanted for nothing. Alejandro and Angel who set up our cabanas daily were also extremely efficient and always pleasant. One person stood out, and if I could have duplicated him, I would have, that was our butler, Otikio. Our stay would not have been the same without him, he was hands down, THE BEST!!! When I say that I did not have to think about anything, I mean it. He was taking care of things before I even thought of it. We had one or two little minor incidences that he not only remedied, but also made up for, and it was nothing major. He always had a smile on his face, always made sure to respond and actually sought out to find us throughout the day to make sure everything was OK. I will definitely be returning here with my family and I highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about a thing!!!

    Davino Reataurant

    Davino is hands down a yummy choice, the steak and the seafood pasta is incredible. My server was fabulous and made dining even better. Angel is a true Angel! He made my dinner along with the ambience perfect. I will definetely come back and if you visit Davion request for Angel, he will make your experience even better.

    AWESOME!

    Amazing stay, resort, staff, most of the food was delicious. You feel very well taken care of here. The servers, bartenders all remember your name, drinks. Spa was very relaxing!
