We just finished our annual visit and just want to thank the following for making the stay memorable. Daniel at the pool, Cesar at the bar, Ian at Activities, Elena in housekeeping and Isidro & Miguel from Yashinoka Japanese Restaurant. It's staff like them that keep us coming back and we look. Forward to many more of the renovated rooms.

Feb 02, 2026A lovely, charming, older Villa Del Palmar...
We have stayed at Villa Del Palmar Flamingos and La Estancia in Nuevo Vallarta. This was our first time staying at Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort and Spa in Puerto Vallarta. It is lovely but older, the original we heard. We were sad at first with the room we were given. It faced the front of the resort and needed some renovations. We had asked to change rooms but they were full. My parents had a lovely room across from us that faced the ocean. Our room became the room to play cards because the balcony was in the shade in the afternoon so we made our room work. We enjoyed the pool volleyball, water aerobics, walking, shuffleboard, bingo, the gym, the spa for facials, the entertainment and playing cards. The restaurants were good. Our favourite was the Yashinoki Japanese Restaurant. Jared, Juan Carlos, Miguel, Isidro, Junior Isidro, the chef Emanuel and Denise made it a food experience for us. We ate there 4 out of our 9 nights. By the end they knew us like family and knew our drink preferences and just made it magical. Be sure to try the special coffees. It is a show on its own. We were disappointed that the Italian restaurant is now buffet for dinner. The Seafood Market was lovely but we were not impressed with the seafood. Breakfasts were AMAZING! My husband played volleyball every day at 1 pm. We wished the restaurants opened at noon for lunch. We had pool and room service for our lunches. Roseo kept our room so clean. The staff is very attentive and were like family. We loved our 9 day stay in January. With a few little disappointments, we are not hard to please, it became just magical. Gracias to everyone who made it our home for 9 lovely days.

Praises go out to Villa Del Palmar Resort and staff.
I love staying at Villa Del Palmar-Puerto Vallarta every January for 5-6 week and I'm never disappointed. The resort is close to the Marina, Central and Romantica zone. It is located on the beach and an easy walk to a grocery store, lovely outdoor mall and very safe. Villa Del Palmar also offers beautiful sunsets and keep an eye out for the whales that winter here. But the true blessing is the staff. Big Heart Felt Thanks to Gina, Kaori, Paul, Alfrado, Roger, who offer outstanding customer care ad service, and to the maids, Mirey, Amelia, Yanira, Dorio and Angelia, who do an amazng job keeping the rooms cleaned and restocked every day.

This place is great!!!
I like the pool and the rooms are nicely decorated. The food is pretty good (especially the breakfast buffet). Also Luis Margo is the best person I met here.

Luis and Margo have been immensely fantastic and helpful!!! We are so lucky to have them helping us!!! I strongly recommend this resort!!!
