2 weeks in Cabo
Vacation was good except for the fact that our 2 weeks were basically in a construction zone. It would have been nice to have been warned about that. Our room was great, the pool areas once finished were very nice. Alberto the pool concierge is a jem. He's very approachable, knowledgeable and always eager to chat wholeheartedly with the guests. When it comes to the pool area servers Nayeli is the best. She's always cheerful and always has time to listen our stories and eager to tell us some of her own Mexican life tales as well. Antonio, I think might be one of the hardest pool attendants that we've seen. Always going the distance to move an umbrella or find a lounger when it seems there's none to be found.

Another amazing vacation at Villa Del Palmar, Cabo San Lucas
Another amazing vacation at Villa Del Palmar in Cabo comes to an end. We were there for seven days and every day was extremely enjoyable. When we first arrive, we were greeted by the Bell staff, Elle, Luis, and Armando who were extremely helpful. Check is was quick and our concierge, Fernanda, was extremely helpful and provided us with site map, event schedule, and Discount card. She let us know about the resort construction upgrades under way. Very helpful. Our first nights dinner was in the recently upgraded sports bar. Our server, Sunny, was amazing. She assisted us with the menu and we selected the 7 oz filet mignon with baked potato, corn ribs and asparagus spears. Absolutely wonderful. The steak was cooked perfectly and Sunny continually checked to make sure we were good. Our days were spent by the lower pool. Although all the work around, the pool is not yet complete, what has been completed is very nice. There will be a lot more space around the pool when it is done with the new hot tubs and the pool layout. We had several different servers assist us around the pool And both were fantastic. First was Andreas who was exceptional and even assisted me in my broken Spanish. For as many people as he was covering around the pool, he was very fast, very friendly and very courteous. The second server was Nayeli who was also great. Both helped make our days by the pool relaxing and enjoyable. The staff always makes us feel at home Thank you

Don’t Book It!
This resort is part of the Villa Group located in Los Cabos, Mexico. Behind the main gate houses Del Palmar, La Estancia and Del Arco. Del Palmar is CLEARLY the step child in this lineup of sister resorts. All I can say is if you’re used to the Sheraton then you’ll love it. But if you prefer to eat great food, dine indoors to avoid the flies, and enjoy accommodations not patterned after cave paintings, DO NOT book a stay at Del Palmar. It wants to be five star, and they are making upgrades, but it’s 2 1/2 stars on a good day. Let’s just say they were mixing concrete behind the plastic screen while I sat poolside and I have the pics to prove it. If someone invites you to tour insist you stay elsewhere.
