Jun 28, 2025Lovely beaches, delicious food
Spent a week here in June. Our room overlooked the bay and the pools, always had a nice breeze. Comfortable accommodations, large bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms, and adequate living area with pull-out sofa bed. Everything clean and in good shape (except 1 of 2 elevators was out in our building). Several pools, sometimes a little crowded but we were usually able to find beach chairs. While there we tried all the restaurants, plus two on neighboring Arco property, delicious dinners at all. We were especially impressed with the service and food at Bella, the Italian restaurant, and at the Deli/Starbucks. We also enjoyed two buffet dinner shows, great selection, and impressive talent from the activities staff; not sure how they managed to entertain folks during the day, practice for 7 different shows, and perform with such energy every night! Really, all the staff were helpful, from maids to bell boys to concierge to waitstaff, even clerks at the well-stocked market. Definitely enjoyed our time there.

HEAVEN
We have been to Villa del Palmar many times, but this was our first time bringing our kids (ages 9 and 5) and they were at the PERFECT ages for going! My 5 year-old loved going to the kid place for two hours every day and made friends and did crafts, baked cookies, did some drumming, watched movies, and Janet and Brenda were wonderful with him! My 9 year-old loved all the shows each night (especially Michael Jackson!), and our server Iracema was so kind and attentive and gave them hugs every evening. The all-inclusive is a MUST as you easily get your money’s worth and if you can get Nico, Gustavo, or Esteban for the poolside service, they are so fast and amazing!!! The food is so delicious for all ages and preferences, and we slept very comfortably all week. One day home and we already miss it!! See you again SOON Villa del Palmar!

Great vacation!
The resort was perfect! The staff was friendly and took great care of us. My daughter ended up being sick on day 2 and they had an onsite doctor and they were able to take us to the local hospital (free of charge) for her to be seen my a doctor that could prescribe medicine and get her feeling better by day 3. There is plenty of food choices but sitting by the ocean hand ordering poolside was perfect for us. I really enjoyed the nightly shows too. They are so well done and have a great staff to put them on. I’d highly recommend seeing them or at the very least sitting nearby to hear the amazing music. The property is so clean and the staff does an incredible job keeping is beautiful. We would recommend and return to this resort again. One thing to note is there are 3 different resorts on the property. We stayed at Palmar. We didn’t go over to the other one that we had access to because we did all inclusive and food over there wasn’t included in our all inclusive. The pools over there looked nicer but we sat at the edge by the beach h everyday. Thank you Villa del Palmar!

Great service
Great poolside service. Nayeli is amazing! She is non stop bring us all drinks and food. Great personality and always with a smile.
