What We Love

  • This resort is perfect for families. Kids in Paradise keeps children happy while their parents enjoy time alone for scuba diving, sport fishing and spa time.
  • The new farm-to-table restaurant, Tomatillos, is absolutely amazing!

Things to Know

  • The resort is a great base for families who love the fine sand of Medano Beach. But there's also golfing, whale-watching and a simply fabulous spa.

Is Los Cabos calling your name? Then head to this resort! This exciting hotel is the most family-friendly resort in Mexico, according to Travel Age West magazine. Professionally certified staff members keep your children smiling with piñata making, stone painting and other exhilarating activities. With amazing waterfalls, a gorgeous saltwater aquarium and seashell chandeliers in the nine-story atrium lobby, the hotel inspires wonder in kids of all ages. But that's not all. This escape haven is within walking distance of the numerous bars, shops and restaurants of Cabo San Lucas.

While your kids squeal down the whale slide, kick back and enjoy the gorgeous pool area with its new flagstone walkways and decks. Take a dip in the ocean to get a feel for the Pacific from this corner of Mexico. The Los Cabos area is known for rip tides and dangerous beaches, but the hotel sits along sparkling-white Medano Beach, widely considered the safest swimming beach in Cabo San Lucas. Attendants on the beach bring Mai Tais or rum punches whenever you're ready.

When it's time to leave the beach, Bella California is where to go! Gorgonzola cheese, red wine sauce and rosemary enrich your filet of beef. And don't worry about the kids - they'll be eager to dig into their wood-fired pizzas. If you want to enjoy a scrumptious sampling of dishes, enjoy the gourmet buffet and nightly entertainment at Las Tortugas.

Save time for an indulgence or two at the 10,000-sq-ft Desert Spa. This chic spa has a variety of services that we love, but the Noche Romantica is a must with your sweetie: massages, aromatherapy and candles followed by sparkling wine and strawberries! Don't just lounge around the resort. Get your heart racing with tennis, basketball or beach volleyball. Go for an adrenaline rush with water skiing or Jet skiing. For a change of pace, nurture your culinary talents learning to prepare salsa or guacamole. Or take a nap with the kids; you may never want to leave your Junior Suite with its balcony overlooking the ocean.

    Bisbee Black and Blue

We truly appreciate and enjoy our time and friendships we have made together with the Villa Group over the years. They are like our second home. We will always have great memories and continue to make this a place we come back to again anytime.

    Love The Villa Group

We love this resort it’s first class and so fun. We have been to multiple Villa Del Palmars but the Cabo location is our favorite. We especially appreciate the great service from everyone. In particular the bellmen Eliel and Armando who helped us in a pinch get to the airport quickly. Thanks for everything guys!

    Restrictive All-inclusive

The most restrictive all-inclusive we have been to. Long lines for all restaurants, especially breakfast. Takes forever to get a seat. No quick bites anywhere. Drinks take a while. Short staff. No swim up bars. They put out coffee for exactly 1 hour from 6-7 in the morning. Unless it runs out before 7. Then you need to go to the restaurant bar by the pool and stand in one and order and sign. Gym doesn't open until 8am. Can't use the sister properties. Need to pay or can't go at all You sign for everything. 1 beer at the poolside bar? After waiting for 10 minutes, they need to print out a receipt to enter first name, last name, room number, gratuity, total and signature on paper. We have the all inclusive wristband, but same process. No easy desert options for the kids. Entertainment staff is great. Best part. The service staff is great. Front desk, not. Cabo itself is wonderful. So much outside the resort to see and do.

    Superb resort experience!

Villa del Palmar is a superb resort experience. The people all made my stay incredible. The food choices meant I had a wide variety of delightful dining experiences. The Desert Spa was relaxing and rejuvenating. I want to mention some of the people who enhanced my visit. At the spa, my therapist, Monse, provided a most relaxing, healing treatment. The male attendants, Ernesto and Wilber, were helpful in guiding me through all the spa amenities (sauna, steam, thermal pools, etc.). The resort had an incredible activities team that performed nightly shows and led fun activities during the day. The whole team was wonderful and I want to specifically mention Chuy, Alana, and Chloe for taking time to visit with me. There was a wide variety of fantastic restaurants on the property. Pedro, Arturo, Omar, and Keren, at Carbon were wonderful hosts and servers; Omar, Lorena, and Carmen at the breakfast buffet ensured our dining experiences were good; and there were many other people at the other eateries who took great care of us. Miguel from security, Nayveli a poolside server, Tonatiuh at the towel cabana, the concierges Alberto, Antonio, Lili, and Araceli, the bellhop team of Armando, Eliel, Efram, Jimenez, and Luis, all went above and beyond any expectations. I can't wait to return!
