At the sports bar, Angel was absolutely the sweetest server ever!! We always asked to go back to him and he always did his best. Seriously the sweetest guy ever!! Service was always on point, never kept us waiting around !! thank you angel!

Another great vaca with great service !
We appreciate the warm welcome and services from hard . Working staff specially pool side Alberto , Antonio and Mauricio . At the restaurants Carlos , Salvatore, Arturo at carbon and Angel at sports bar. Our experience would not be the same and we thank u . See you soon !

Nov 28, 2025Dissapointing stay
My wife and I visited the Villa Del Palmar resort for 4 days in November from November 18th - 21st, 2025. We had just arrived from another Villa Group resort where my wife, who is a celiac, had been served gluten and experienced a very painful reaction to the gluten, including a hospital stay. On the good side, the staff at the Villa del Palmar were excellent in terms of ensuring she did not get any gluten. We very musch appreciate their efforts. We were travelling with another couple who were considering buying into the Villa Group time-share. We booked a deluxe 2 bedroom suite, which included a hot tub, hoping that they would enjoy their stay. On the not so good side, the hot tub did not work properly. The maintenance staff came on three different occasions, but were not successful in repairing it. The tub would cycle, by itself, from low temperatures to very high temperatures, i.e. 114 degrees. If someone were to not notice how hot the tub was and simply step into the tub they would run the risk of scalding themselves. This is a major safety issue. In addition to the hot tub issue, the resort is undergoing some pretty major renovations. Although the pool renovations had been completed before we arrived, there were still significant renovations accurring to the Bella California restaurant and some of the rooms. One of these rooms was below ours. Consequently, it was noisy and disruptive. We spoke with the GM, Jonathan, about our issues. He offered us a free room upgrade next time we visited the resort, but insisted that we sign a waiver. He would not let us take a copy to review - he was insistant that we sign it on the spot. On principle, I do not sign anything until I have had ample time to review it. In any case, it is academic as we will not be returning to this resort! Needless to say, the couple who visited the resort with us chose not to invest in the Villa Group as a result of our visit.

Great family vacation experience!!
I loved our experience at this resort! Everywhere you go staff is saying hello and always available to answer questions. Everything was extremely clean- no trash on the ground anywhere. The beach entrance is great too! Even the vendors on the beach were friendly and respectful. As we got ready to leave, Luis and Armando up at the bell desk held our luggage while we waited an hour for our shuttle to pick us up.

Cabo!
The 5 star review is mainly due to the service, Nayeli at the pool, The bell hop boys had great service and were very fast. Jonathan at the buffet/ show dinners was very nice respectful, remembered our names after first night and gave us a seat for 2 (instead of sharing) for one of the 3 shows we went too so that was nice and appreciated. Nayeli remembered our names from day 1 and made sure everything we wanted was taken care of. Nayeli also remembered my girlfriend’s specific drink she likes after the first time so that was nice. She is very good at her job and was extremely welcoming and friendly. We made sure to go to her side of the pool everyday we really enjoyed her service. The service in general here is pretty good as most of our requests and questions were met and answered.Room service food is really good. We enjoyed the shows they have for the guests Lion King was very good specifically. As far as noise that is the one issue as there is what sounds like renovations going on on the 6th floor above our room 2511 because for 3 nights straight we have heard very loud grinding (chairs moving and bed moving for at least 2 hours of the night and that has kept us up throughout the night. I say renovations because if guests are making that much noise at 11-12 at night then that is a problem so I’m hoping it is renovation or remodel of a room that is causing the noise. We still have 2 nights at the time of writing this so hopefully there’s not too much tonight. Didn’t need to use the wifi too much but I would say that the free one is not great either as it always cuts out and disconnects in spots it should be working in. You would think with the amount most people spend and how far they travel that WiFi would be pretty good here in order to stay in touch with family, friends work etc but having to pay more for WiFi is a little annoying. Our stay ultimately has been good, the food I would not say is incredible but is good. Room service and Tomatillos food is exceptional! The 5 stars is mainly due to Nayeli as I do feel she went above and beyond to make sure that when we were at the pool everything we wanted was taken care of. She really made our stay better and we enjoyed talking to her. Thank you Nayeli. I would definitely comeback, Cabo San Lucas is a beautiful city and the people we have met are all nice respectful and definitely hardworking. Thank you.
