- This resort is perfect for families. Kids in Paradise keeps children happy while their parents enjoy time alone for scuba diving, sport fishing and spa time.
- The new farm-to-table restaurant, Tomatillos, is absolutely amazing!
Things to Know
- The resort is a great base for families who love the fine sand of Medano Beach. But there's also golfing, whale-watching and a simply fabulous spa.

Deafening construction
People planning to come here in the near future need to know there is a profound construction project going on 8am-8pm 6 days per week - maybe 7 we are on day 6, Saturday now, at 4pm. Relentless jackhammering, cement pouring with cement truck, around 25 workers. A wooden board had been constructed between the pool, hot tub and amenities to block majority of the construction site visibility, but none of the sound. The noise is absolutely deafening, it changes everything. You can: go to the beach, and go on tours, have breakfast before 8am to help. If you plan to be at the resort, including your room, during the day, your quality of experience will be severely limited, I’m sorry to report this. Besides a small members Facebook page, no one had been notified and the website does not report this, if you call the resort they have told other guests that the construction was not happening and expected to be finished by October. We can see the potential of this resort to be amazing. The food and service, is wonderful. All the staff are very kind. It’s no one’s fault, and construction has to happen as it does. The lack of transparency of the project is unfortunate, and if you have any control over your timing for your trip you need to know this.

Great beachfront resort
Every stay we are greeted by friendly staff and treated like special guests. The spacious quiet rooms are clean, well equipped with full size fridge, microwave and heat plate. The renovations to the pool area make it nice for everyone to enjoy the activities at the main pool or you can relax at the adult pool. The hot tubs are well situated. The gym has everything you need to keep up your routine during your holiday. They also have pickleball and tennis courts. This resort is right on Medano Beach which is swimmable and you can usually see a turtle release early in the morning or in the evening. They have a sports bar, grocery market, deli and three restaurants on site. It is a short 15 min walk to restaurants and a further 5 min walk to the Walmart/Chedarui for groceries.

Be careful, be aware, and don’t let an aggressive sales pitch ruin your stay.
Disappointing Experience with the Real Estate Department at The Villa Group Los Cabos This was our first stay at Villa La Valencia, and while the resort itself is beautiful and most of the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, our experience with the real estate department left us deeply disappointed. We attended what was supposed to be a simple two-hour owners update. Our representative, Dean Heyes, a young South African gentleman started off well. He was knowledgeable, informative, and initially very pleasant. He gave us a tour of the elite suites and was cordial and professional at first. However, things changed dramatically once we returned to his office to discuss the possibility of transferring our timeshare to Los Cabos. Dean presented the benefits, explained the numbers, and made a compelling case for upgrading. Unfortunately, we are not in a financial position to make such a move at this time. The moment we declined, the tone of the entire interaction shifted. Dean’s demeanor changed instantly his brows lowered, his attitude became tense, and his tone grew noticeably sharp. He asked “Are you sure?” multiple times, clearly pressuring us, and became increasingly short-tempered. The friendliness he showed at the beginning vanished completely. His behavior felt angry, dismissive, and unprofessional. We left feeling tricked, pressured, and deceived. It genuinely ruined our day something that should never happen on vacation, especially at a resort of this caliber. It’s unfortunate, because the property is lovely and most employees are wonderful. But as the saying goes, one rotten apple can spoil the fruit bowl. This experience has made us think twice about returning. Be careful, be aware, and don’t let an aggressive sales pitch ruin your stay.

Best Cabo has to offer for all inclusive for families !
We have been to this resort multiple times and for good reason! In regard to all inclusive resorts, it is far and away the best that cabo has to offer. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is immaculate and leaves nothing to be desired. It is oceanfront so the kids can swim all day long. You have access to vendors, but it’s not overwhelming. The service is fast and friendly, and the nightly shows are amazing! Truly amazing! Year after year, the highlight of our trip are two girls who work poolside during the day and star in the shows at night, their names are Alana and Chloe. They are warm, accommodating, helpful, and so talented. Our whole family loves them. We can’t wait to go back.
