Jan 28, 2026Incredible Staff – They Make Villa Del Palmar Feel Like Home
I just returned from another wonderful girls’ trip to Villa Del Palmar Cabo, and once again, it reminded me why this is my favorite of the Villa resorts. While the property itself is beautiful, it’s truly the staff that keeps me coming back again and again. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so special. The pool concierges, Alberto and Antonio, went above and beyond every single day — making sure we had cabanas, helping with reservations, and always greeting us with a smile. They are absolute pros and made our pool days effortless and relaxing. Our pool waiter, Carlos was an absolute blast — fun, attentive, and always keeping the good vibes going. He made every afternoon by the pool even better. In the evenings, Jonathan at the nightly shows made sure we always had great tables and never missed out on the entertainment. It made such a difference to feel welcomed and taken care of night after night. Kevin was very helpful with both my massage reservation and checkout, making everything smooth and stress-free. And speaking of massages, the Desert Spa was wonderful. Relaxing, peaceful, and exactly what you want on a vacation like this. This trip was everything we hoped for — relaxing, fun, and full of great memories. Villa Del Palmar truly excels at personal service, and their staff makes guests feel seen, remembered, and valued. I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend — especially if you appreciate exceptional service and a resort that treats you like family.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A MIGRAINE! We did not realize they would be doing a HUGE construction project in their resort. There is drilling, grinding, and just loud vibration noises. Even closing our slide door we can still hear it. The outdoor pool is unusable solely because of the noise. It happens throughout the entire day from morning to late evening. FURTHERMORE, this hotel did a full BAIT AND SWITCH on us! When we booked this resort, we were misled by their customer representative that we were getting a room with 3 beds, but it wasn't until we ARRIVED that we found out we were only given TWO double beds for THREE adults! Then they tried to UPSELL us for an extra bed for 175 USD extra! What a complete scam! I would avoid this resort at all costs! They will basically say yes to anything when you book the resort, but will do a complete bait and switch on you once you arrive. Needless to say, sleeping was a nightmare due to the shortage on beds AND construction noise. If you want to ruin your vacation, stay here!

Entertainment crew is the best!
The entertainment crew makes the trip so enjoyable. We come back each year to see our friends at the resort (the employees). Chloe and Alana are amazing and Albert and Bryan are so fun. We love the pool waiters Andres and Niko. They are so attentive and friendly.

Review
Food and beverage service was good. Andres, who took care of the beach deck was fantastic for food and beverages. Not satisfied with our own location and even though we were here three times prior or not given another option.
