What We Love
- This resort is perfect for families. Kids in Paradise keeps children happy while their parents enjoy time alone for scuba diving, sport fishing and spa time.
- The new farm-to-table restaurant, Tomatillos, is absolutely amazing!
Things to Know
- The resort is a great base for families who love the fine sand of Medano Beach. But there's also golfing, whale-watching and a simply fabulous spa.
Is Los Cabos calling your name? Then head to this resort! This exciting hotel is the most family-friendly resort in Mexico, according to Travel Age West magazine. Professionally certified staff members keep your children smiling with piñata making, stone
painting and other exhilarating activities. With amazing waterfalls, a gorgeous saltwater aquarium and seashell chandeliers in the nine-story atrium lobby, the hotel inspires wonder in kids of all ages. But that's not all. This escape haven is within walking
distance of the numerous bars, shops and restaurants of Cabo San Lucas.
While your kids squeal down the whale slide, kick back and enjoy the gorgeous pool area with its new flagstone walkways and decks. Take a dip in the ocean to get a feel for the Pacific from this corner of Mexico. The Los Cabos area is known for rip tides and dangerous beaches, but the hotel sits along sparkling-white Medano Beach, widely considered the safest swimming beach in Cabo San Lucas. Attendants on the beach bring Mai Tais or rum punches whenever you're ready.
When it's time to leave the beach, Bella California is where to go! Gorgonzola cheese, red wine sauce and rosemary enrich your filet of beef. And don't worry about the kids - they'll be eager to dig into their wood-fired pizzas. If you want to enjoy a scrumptious sampling of dishes, enjoy the gourmet buffet and nightly entertainment at Las Tortugas.
Save time for an indulgence or two at the 10,000-sq-ft Desert Spa. This chic spa has a variety of services that we love, but the Noche Romantica is a must with your sweetie: massages, aromatherapy and candles followed by sparkling wine and strawberries! Don't just lounge around the resort. Get your heart racing with tennis, basketball or beach volleyball. Go for an adrenaline rush with water skiing or Jet skiing. For a change of pace, nurture your culinary talents learning to prepare salsa or guacamole. Or take a nap with the kids; you may never want to leave your Junior Suite with its balcony overlooking the ocean.

Best trip Lydia & Al Ragusa
I would like to say that we have been coming to Cabo for 6 years now and every year we enjoy ourselves. They resort is kept beautiful. The restaurants are amazing the food is great, love that you have added new restaurants to Villa Del palm Mar. Neptune’s at Del Arco is delicious. Beautiful view while eating dinner. Want to just give recognition to Espinosa at the pool side. He is an amazing person. Always on top of things. We don’t even need to ask for a fresh drink it’s already brought to you. He’s truly a very nice person! He definitely makes your trip very enjoyable! We always look forward to coming back to see him!!! We are suppose to be coming in August 2020 we are awaiting on info due to covid restrictions!
18 years and loving it!!
When my family travels to the Baja Sur we always look forward to staying at VDP. When we arrive, we feel like we are coming home to family. I love how our son has always felt welcome there, VDP has a special family atmosphere and I hope they never lose that. Some resorts are not too family friendly. We have been traveling to VDP since 2001 and our boy since he was only 4 months old. The staff is awesome and we look forward to seeing some familiar faces in a couple weeks. :) If you are trying to decide where to stay, VDP is a great choice.
The most incredible experience for our wedding
Four months ago we get married at Villa del Arco and all was perfectly planned. Our wedding planners were Rocío Avalos and Perla Lino (From Palmar Group). Let me fully recommend them! They planned a beautiful ceremony in front of the sea, an amazing reception at El Patron restaurant, the lights, the music and help us in coordinating our guests at Villa del Palmar hotel . It was the most special night in our lives! Thanks to all the staff at both hotels (specially Gabriela Galindo). If you're planning your wedding this is a magnificent option!
Such a great experience and such great service from Iracema . So looking forward to go back with my family. It’s such a beautiful hotel and so relaxing . Love how they will serve you any kind of food and make your green juice .
The service is fabulous
This is a lovely resort property with access to the partner resort next door giving lots of eating choices. The best part of our experience however is the attention to customer service. In particular we had a server in the pool area named Andres Paulino who was exceptional. He was timely, very knowledgeable and very attentive. We were fortunate to go before the coronavirus shutdowns began and I am already looking forward to going back!
