We visited Ventus at Marina el cid with our family and two other families. The resort is beautiful. The room was well appointed, and accommodated a family of five comfortably. We had an ocean view suite and loved that. The resort had wonderful options for pools. There are two infinity pools and a family size jacuzzi. The kids especially loved the cliff jump pool with music and performances to watch. The food options were also quite good. We enjoyed each of the restaurants. We had the butler service while we were there and found the staff to be very helpful with any questions we had. The beach was also nice. Unfortunately, the water was too murky to swim in, so that was the only downside of the resort location. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We also felt very safe throughout the resort and sister resorts. We would highly recommend this resort for other families.

Perfect stay!!!
What a beautiful resort!! Rooms and grounds were immaculate! Food: Loved Mercado de Delores for lunch. My faves were the poke bowls and pad Thai made to order. We were lucky enough to get dinner reservations each night we were there. Pro tip: book your first dinner reservation a week before you come. Make sure to book 2 more when you check in and then each day you get to do 2 more. They open up every Sat for the week so get to the concierge! Kobo was fun and yummy. Didn't love Aakat. French restaurant was great. Get the creme brulee for dessert! Italian was yummy too. Tiramisu! Mexican we enjoyed. Get vegetarian burrito and and Grouper...shout out to our waiter Rene! He was great. Mediterranean was delish...loved the salad bar. Best coffee is at Aroma. Breakfast was nice. Yaz did a great job on omelettes! Passionfruit at Ruf by Ventus Ha is a must. Pools were freezing and not heated. But we went to the family hot tub a lot with the kids. Beach isn't great but we took a cab into town 2 of the days and sat by Don Ernestos... was beautiful. You get lounges and need to spend a minimum of around $17 pp which is a great deal. Our kids loved going to the kids club. Each day has a different theme. Amazing staff over there! We enjoyed the nightly shows! Spa was so nice. Loved my massage from Adriana. Overall this was a much needed relaxing trip. I would return with my family!! My only wish is that the pools were warmer.

An Unforgettable Cancun Trip
We had an amazing trip to Cancun and truly loved our stay. We had a great time and enjoyed every part of the experience. Our butlers Fredy and Ricardo was excellent—always attentive, responsive to our needs, and everything was kept very clean. The food was good, the ocean view was beautiful, and the beachfront and excursions were great. Room was next to activity so some nights go noise if we were in the room but always put on a great show. Overall for the cost of our trip we would come back again in the future!

awesome Stay
Had a great time at El Cid, met two guys who made things so very easy and as a result excellent, Ricardo and Fredy really made it a pleasurable stay. Highly Recommend

Cozy time with family
We had one of the very best experience. We had the best butlers of the place, very great fine young men. "Omar, Orlando and Are" were commendable for their outstanding service.
