More so a 3 star hotel
This is not a 4 star hotel based on the minimum standards required for a 4 star hotel. Had we known this was really more of a 3 star hotel, we would have had different expectations for our experience. I’ll start with what was great. 1. The staff. For the most part everyone is friendly and helpful. If there was something we needed that they didn’t have, they tried their best to accommodate us. Special thank you to Eesh who helped us tremendously with my handicap mother. 2. The location. While there are also cons to this as this area is a heavily trafficked location, there is so much in walking distance. You don’t really need a taxi to go places and if you do need one, they are easy to find. 3. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely. What wasn’t so great: 1. The website. The pictures of the hotel do not match the in person experience AT ALL. The pool was disappointing and certainly not as pictured. The beach area for Tryp was also disappointing - it was small and the chairs were old, run down and uncomfortable. 2. The location. It’s literally party central. There were multiple nights when we heard nothing but bass and loud music until 4am. We could also smell food cooking at night as the hotel is next to several restaurants. 3. Misinformation. I was told upon check in we could request a shower chair. I requested one but it never came. I followed up the next day and was told that the hotel doesn’t have one. I’m not sure why one was offered to me. There also is no true space to take meetings (as is advertised on the Tryp website) outside of your room if you plan on working remotely. The community areas are small, as is the cafe, with people frequently coming and going. 4. The construction. The hotel was constructed poorly and in some places sloppily. It’s as if the hotel is new and old at the same time, and they were in a rush to just finish the job versus doing the job right or neatly. Tryp feels like Aloft without the consistency in an elevated experience. It is a decent hotel with nice staff and clean rooms for a reasonable price. Do not expect to have a 4 star experience when staying here.

7th time at such a peaceful and friendly property
We have visited this property seven times and each time it never disappoints. The staff (Priscilla, Jeanrick, Jonathan, Ashanti, Ayliah, Elliot, Ish and Sebastian) are extremely friendly and always willing to help you. The property is in a such a great location, and it is so close to the beach. The property is serene and with all the renovations completed, it definitely a place to stay. Hoping to be back next year!!!!!!!!

ADULT ONLY hotel in the heart of Palm Beach
Hotel staff is exceptional! Very friendly and eager to help. “Kelly” made wonderful suggestions on restaurants for dinner and we were very pleased with all three! He went over and above by making the dinner reservations for us so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. Adult only hotel is in the middle of everything, shopping and restaurants are walkable and plentiful. Beach is across the street. Hotel is not resort styled however, pool area and guest rooms are clean and more than adequate.

Tropical Paradise 🏝️
We stayed at this hotel when it was under construction and to see it finished this summer it was even better than I expected it to be. The coffee shop was excellent with Ashanti making the coffee she has a fabulous personality and makes a phenomenal iced coffee. I was happy they added this coffee shop it was better than Starbucks! Ashanti was a great find. Priscilla is my favorite person in Aruba. She is so sweet and beyond helpful. She makes this resort! The world needs more people like Priscilla in it. They did a beautiful job on the pool and the new rooms are beautiful. 5 stars in my opinion! We had a great time

We won’t come back :(
We had an unpleasant stay and will not return. Our room is near the disco so we dealt with loud music all night. Room is very sparse; no closet, no safe, tiny coffee machine. We had breakfast here one morning and the food was basically inedible. TV didn’t work; maintenance was able to fix. Key card lock didn’t work; maintenance came. You can’t control air conditioner so we froze at night. Beach accommodations are tiny and cramped with broken beach chairs. Pool is fine and lunch wrap was ok. Staff were nice; special shout out to Xerxes who was always great.
