Go there but dont take my disabled friendly room.....
Lovely small hotel sitting at the beach with wonderful views. A small couples only hotel with all you could wish for on an AI basis. Wheelchair accessible room - step free - with hand rails in the shower area. Toilet itself a little lower than my needs require but manageable. Low key with select entertainment in the evening. Upgraded in 2024 which has reflected in the overall ambience of the hotel. Food good.

Pure Gold at Treasure Beach
This is a beautiful fantastically run holiday location . Located overlooking beautiful Paynes Bay . Unfortunately the beach stealing hurricane has made it difficult for the less mobile to access the sea and beach directly via the hotel but there is a public entrance 5 minutes walk away . The hotel has a spacious terrace and pool area with plenty of beds and umbrellas and a decent sized pool for a cooling dip . There is entertainment three times a week and the female vocalist Trinity was the star of the show . What a fabulous singer that young lady is . The hotel suite was perfect for our needs . Spotlessly clean - attractively presented with a large balcony . The room had all modern amenities - nice lounge area with a fridge and a king size and very comfortable bed . The storage in the bedroom was more than ample for all our luggage and bits and pieces . The bathroom came with both a bath and a powerful shower . It was a very restful area and some excellent sleep was enjoyed in the sanctuary of those lovely surroundings . We found the food was excellent . Breakfast was a La carte and /or buffet . A perfect start to the day . Lunch and Dinner in my view was excellent . Plenty of choice - all served to the table . Imaginative dishes beautifully presented and extremely tasty and well cooked. . The home made soups each evening - course 1 of 4 were a daily treat . The food was of a quality you would expect in a very good restaurant. Compliments to the chefs they are doing an admirable job . All of the above aspects were first class but even they were surpassed by the real stars of the show - the staff !!! Brilliantly led by the Chief Operations manager Tracess who would regularly engage with guests - the staff at the bar - reception - restaurant - maintenance - housekeeping were a delight . Their cheery demeanour and willingness to engage was a delight and nothing was too much trouble for them . The attentiveness in the restaurant was excellent and whether it was wine or water in my glass it was refilled the moment it was spotted it was running low . The staff were always happy to engage with you in cheerful chat and banter and pass on their local wisdom . You were made to feel relaxed and comfortable at all times whether at the bar by the pool or in the restaurant. We loved the pampering of the poolside drinks service which also included frozen grapes cold towels and iced lollies . We would love to return and would recommend this hotel to anybody . All that’s needs to be said now is Thank You to all at Treasure Beach who helped make our holiday there such a special time. The Sullivans (Margot and Steven ) .

Glorious seven night all-inclusive stay in beautiful Barbados
As a family of three we spent a lovely week (commencing 9th of May) staying at Treasure Beach Art Hotel, at Paynes Bay. It is in a fabulous setting. The ocean starts one metre away from the property, with a beautiful beach one minute's walk away. There is also a free water taxi. There is also a nice pool and loads of sunbeds. The staff are exceedingly pleasant and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable. The bathrooms have all mod cons, including a light which comes on automatically if it detects movement. Back at ground level, the restaurant and bar are brilliant. Breakfast is either a la carte or buffet, depending on preference. Lunch and dinner are mostly a la carte and are delicious. The bar is open from 11 til 11 and there is no limit on the number of drinks, of which there is a large and tasty variety. One guesses that the advice to bar staff is not to go overboard with the quantity of alcohol in any one drink, for the best of reasons. (This is a comment and certainly not a criticism). Guests are mostly fairly ample types, from the UK or British North America. One or two from the US also. I'm guessing that it is not on the radar of EU people for some reason, which is a shame, cos they would love it. We certainly did, and it is on our list to go back sometime in the future. Thank you to all concerned. You are a great team!!

Avoid Treasure Beach Barbados
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and very clean. Unfortunately there is building work on the hotel next door with drilling, Kan going, banging every day. which TUI failed to mention. Evening meals are limited to a choice of three, fish, meat or vegetarian and is repeated weekly. Lunch has more variety. There are no sun beds on the beach as there isn’t a beach only rocks, although there is a beach adjacent. The hotel advertises personal beach dining, how this is with no beach ! Hence the sun beds are crowded around the pool (more a pond). When we were there we were continually bothered with noisy kites that drove us mad with the incessant buzzing (similar to a loud drone). TUI also advertises dine around which you can go to other Marriot hotels for dinner of lunch, there was only one other available due to the others shut for refurbishment. Definitely not worth the value.
