What We LoveAfter one night on the signature Westin Heavenly Bed, you'll never want to leave the room. With so much on-site, you don't have to wander far.
Things to KnowWestin St. John Resort & Villas is one of two resorts located on the nature-preserve island of St. John and by far the most luxurious.
Westin St. John: Experience the Emerald IsleRecently nominated by Starwood's loyalty members as the Best Island Paradise and the Best Family Experience, the Westin St. John Resort & Villas is a refreshing 47-acre tropical hideaway on the palm-lined shores of Great Cruz Bay.
There's plenty of room for shore-dwellers to make a splash at the Westin St. John's quarter-acre, freshwater pool. Or, if you want some relaxation, head over to the spa instead where you can indulge in a massage or a mango body scrub.
Swap the spa for plush greens at the nearby Mahogany Run Golf Course. Just ask the concierge desk to help you arrange individual and tournament play, as well as transportation from the resort. You'll be glad you did. Not only is this course a top golf destination in the Caribbean with 18 challenging holes, but it also offers one of the best mountaintop views around. The course ends with the infamous "Devil's Triangle," which is made up of three difficult holes along the ocean. Good luck making par with such gorgeous views around you!
Meanwhile, you can let the kids party the day away at Westin Kids Club. Hourly, half-day, full-day or evening club sessions offer opportunities for parents to enjoy time away while kids get to play. There's also a Westin Teen Arcade Center for the older ones to meet some new friends and enjoy some time on their own. Pinball, air hockey and a photo booth are just a few of the activities they can enjoy there.
Besides that, the Westin St. John has plenty more options to suit everyone. Find your bliss with a morning yoga class, pump iron at the state-of-the-art fitness center or grab one of the tennis courts for a quick match. When you finally work up an appetite, you'll find a couple delicious dining options on-site, do you don't have to go very far for a great meal. After a day of fun activity, great food and family bonding, you'll be happy to retire to your comfortable room and get ready for the next day's adventure.

Beautiful resort that delivers a relaxing vacation
had an amazing time during our stay here. We had the great privilege of staying in the newer buildings were the rooms are up to date with a modern style. The property is very clean and well maintained. The resort had a great pool and bar area for you to relax during the day. The beach access is very convenient and the rest provides many free amenities for having fun in the water. The resort is very close to downtown St. Johns which gives access to all of the local restaurants, bars and stores. The staff is very friendly and are there to help. I highly recommend staying here!
Very nice resort
We stayed there for a week shortly after the tourism restrictions were eased. At fist, there was no good or drink service and the stores on the resort were closed - they opened half way during our stay. Beautiful beach. The pool is very nice, too. We played tennis - four courts with astro turf type of service. Two of the courts have lights but one of those courts has problems with most of its lights. There are a couple of paddle ball courts but we stuck to tennis. Nice selection of free water sports - kayaks, paddle boards and small Hobie cats. The bay is packed with boats on moorings so using a Hobie is not as fun as usual. We used the Westin shuttle service to and from the airport. Well worth the cost. Very pretty resort. There is a car rental on site. More expensive than renting in town but we only wanted a Jeep for a day to drive around the island
We own a time share here and love it.
We came last February and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the Island. Very relieved how much has been rebuilt since the hurricanes. We love the way so many of the restaurants are outdoors. Sunday brunch at Miss Lucy's was well worth the drive and the views from the top of the Island are breathtaking.
We had a beachfront room and it was absolutely breathtaking. The staff was wonderful and the free water front activities didn't fail to impress. The guys at the Watersports booth, Mike and Alex were so friendly. We took the "Jammin" on a snokel trip along with Pizza. You couldn't ask for a better excursion.
Beautifully Restored after hurricane Irma
We had stayed here before the hurricane. The same footprint is there but everything is now very up to date. Please remember that this is a timeshare place and not a high end hotel although the prices make it seem that way. We loved our time at the resort and will definitely return.
