The Westin Playa Bonita is a beautiful resort like hotel. The pool is gorgeous, and the service was superb. We were greeted politely and allowed to check in before the official check in time, which we very much appreciated Our room was well appointed, and the air conditioning worked well. The Starfish Grill restaurant was reasonably priced with good menu selections. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider staying here were we ever to be in Panama again That said, we do have a few minor points of feedback to offer: we would like to have had a couple more à la carte options for food and snacks; we wish the pool stayed open a bit later; we thought the breakfast buffet was very expensive, considering what it was. Many hotels offer the same kind of breakfast as part of the room fee. also, we were disappointed at the portion sizes at the Asiana restaurant. We are not large people, and we do not overeat, yet we found the portions to be unsatisfying. But all of this said, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to others visiting the area. I would warn, however, that if you are coming to stay in the city, staying at this hotel requires a 25 to 40 minute Uber ride into the city, depending on traffic. Consider the Westin a getaway from the city, not a place to stay within the city.

Hotel was ok. Very big. Nice beach. The music is too loud around the swimming pools. Ideal for families with youngsters, not for elderly seeking peace and quiet.

The Westin Playa Bonita
The Westin Playa Bonita is a beautiful resort and with great staff and great food— The make your own pizza station at the pool is incredible with tasty pizza and friendly staff. Great location, close to Panama City and The Old Town (Casco Viejo). Jose, the bartender at the bar is great with friendly and quick service. Allan, at starfish is so kind and a great waiter. He is quick, friendly and very polite. Overall, the Westin Playa Bonita was great hotel with exceptional service and kind staff. Hope to be back soon!

Jahir is the best!
Jahir was wonderful! He was friendly, timely, and very helpful! He made our dinner one of the best of the trip. I really enjoyed the experience.
