Westin Kids Club® Discovery Room
This fun-filled 'keiki' or children's program introduces the unique Hawaiian culture and traditions through dance, arts and crafts, language and games. Keiki ages 5 to 12 years can have an activity-filled day and learn more about Hawaii. The Westin Kids Club Discovery Room is licensed by the Department of Human Services, State of Hawaii.
Each day at the Westin Kids Club Discovery Room is different and exciting. Our Westin Kids Club® Discovery Room facility is equipped with video game systems, air hockey, foosball and more. Our day begins with keiki getting to know one another and includes a delicious lunch provided by our very own ‘Ono Bar & Grill. All full day keiki then enjoy an afternoon swimming in the Westin Maui pools. Keiki will receive a complimentary Westin Kids Club® t-shirt on their first visit.

Fantastic resort and stay. Grounds were clean. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was incredibly friendly. Pools were never crowded and we never had an issue finding somewhere to sit. We stayed in the Lānai at Hōkūpaʻa room 890. The view was incredible. Can't wait to come back.

My stay at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali was truly disappointing from the moment I checked in. Despite booking a Studio Oceanfront balcony room, the room was anything but oceanfront. The balcony offered a so-called 'oceanfront' view, which turned out to be of the loud pool area, constantly with noisy guests and activities. This "oceanfront view" was mostly obscured by trees, further detracting from any so called "oceanfront" experience. The room was cramped, with outdated furnings and said slept 4 as long as 2 people don't mine sleeping on a lump couch bed. Again, if you sign-up for a pool view that's one thing but don't sell this as oceanfront.

2025年5月24日から29日まで滞在しました。立地も設備もすばらしく、本来なら高評価だったはずです。 しかし残念ながら、ヴィンテージのTシャツと短パンが部屋から盗まれるという事態が起きました。特に、5月27日のお昼に清掃のため早く出るよう強く促してきたスタッフが印象的で、その後彼女に会うことはありませんでした。 金銭的な補償を求めるつもりはなく、ただホテル側がこの問題を真剣に受け止めてくれることを望んでいます。後になって、他のレビューでも同様の事件が書かれているのを見て、不信感が強まりました。 一人のスタッフの不誠実な行動で、ホテル全体の印象が台無しになったのは本当に残念です。 I stayed at The Westin Maui from May 24 to May 29, 2025. While the location and facilities were generally wonderful, I unfortunately experienced a theft that completely changed my impression. A vintage T-shirt and shorts were taken from my room. I am certain the items disappeared shortly after a housekeeping staff member asked me to leave the room in a hurry on May 27 around midday. Her attitude was pushy and unusual, and I never saw her again during my stay. I reported the incident, not to request compensation, but to urge management to take this issue seriously. Later, I found other reviews reporting similar cases, which made me feel even more concerned. One dishonest action by a single staff member was enough to damage my trust completely. I sincerely hope the hotel improves its internal controls, because the rest of the experience could have been excellent.

Incredible Room with an Unbelievable View!
We stayed in a Premier Suite at the Westin and it was such an amazing experience! The views from the entire room were breathtaking! The first thing we noticed was there was a balcony that connected all of the rooms and had an incredible ocean view! There was also a separate ocean view from the bedroom! The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeeper kept the room super clean to where every square inch—inside and out—felt walkable with bare feet. She knew us by name and greeted us every day. The restaurants and markets were also great, and the resort is steps from Whalers Village, making it a prime location for a vacation! We can’t wait to come back and stay at the Westin!

May 26, 2025Watch the Receipt/Tip Charge
The food was great and the view breathtaking! Ate at the Mo'olelo Restaurant. Highlights include the lobster rolls, Lanai Hala Kahiki and pineapple caprese. My only complaint is the manner in which they charge customers for the food and drink. We had 6 adults and two small kids. There is a line item "Open Service Charge % 20.00" which I assume to be the tip ($70.20). In bold lettering, the receipt also states **GRATUITY NOT INCLUDED**. Management is either deceitful or inept....I don't know any other options. I was fortunate that my server brought it to my attention as she presented me the bill. I wonder how many people paid double the tip, especially after one too many Mai Tai? The server was Connie B and I appreciate her honesty. Management should address this immediately.
